A dry twig cracked near where Iceshadow had been sleeping. She came awake and rolled out of her bed roll grbbinng her sword from it's sheath in one fluid movment. Ice sniffed the air. Wha? Dragon?Hotoko? Crap he found me!
A part-dragon with red scales came out of the brambles. He had greasy black hair. He sneered at her. "Hello Iceshadow." He said.
Ice looked at him in contempt. "How did you find me, Hotoko? You snivelling excuse for a dragon."
The half-dragon looked at her his expression turned evil. "Simple I borrowed my fathers Finding spell. With your blood from our last battle it was easy enough."
"You mean stole" she retorted.
"You are making me angry. I just thought I'd show you my new toys. You can help me practice with them." His grin had turned evil again as he held up metal claw coverings. They glinted in the early morning light.
"Cheater" Ice said. The evil grin returned as he attacked. Ice brought her sword up and the metal screeched. The Phoenix aura seemed to brighten every time claws met blade.
The fight seemed to go on for hours. Ice knew it only could have been for a few minutes. Fanilly she saw an opening ind his defence. She quickly got under his guard. When she was right below him she preformed the Phoenix Arc. (This move consists of bringing the sword up from the ground on a diagnal course at your opponents chest.)
Hotoko jumped back swipping at her as a column of fire that vaguely resembled a phoenix surrounded him a deep cut appeared on his chest at the same time a burn did. He spread his wings into the air and up he went. On the wind were the words "You shall pay for this Half-demon."
Ice collapsed to the ground. It was then she noticed that she did not escape unscathed. Her shoulder had a deep, ragged cut in it. I must have got that when he swiped at me Ice quickly bandaged it as well as she could. "Thank goodness he will not come back today." She sighed as she sat in the grass.
