The day that past was totally uneventful. Ice sat in the camp and cleaned up a bit. She went to sit by the river and talk to the Sprites for a bit. It was soothing to speak in there language. It was as musical as the elven language which her father taught her before he died.
Ice remembered that day when he first said that he was going to teach her.Ice, do you want to learn the language that I was speaking to That lady in. Ice had eagerly agreed. What was the language Father? It is Forest Elven young one. On day you will have to speak it alot when your mother's people come to meet you. My mother? Oh father who is she. Ice had asked. The dog demon looked at her Ice you will know sooner or later. I will tell you when you are ready.
Ice sat and remembered that day Who is she? father always spoke fondly of her. So he must have loved her. Could a human love a demon though? Is my mother even human? Ice remembered when her master taught her how hunt. He was extremly suprised at how easily Ice could walk up behind him so quietly that he would not know she was there until she said something. If he knew who her mother was he never told her. Her master was not fully human he was part Elven so he knew how quiet they could be. When he looked at her he seemed to remember someone. That he had meet only 2 before. For the life of him he could not figure out who.
Ice had not asked even though it burned her to do so. She wanted to know who she was. For that to happen she needed to find out her parentage. She knew she was part dog demon but her mother's side was a mystery to her. does Black Dragon know something I do not Ice sat and pondered who her mother was, watching the stars appear in the inly blackness above. The elementals all sat nearby. They just being there comforted Ice enough so she could sleep.
