We looked out over the horizon and saw the trees and ground that we had been searching for all this time. It was a sight that brought Hino to tears. " If I would have known I was this close...I feel like such a fool..." Jenny and Aiyu came to comfort her and I turned bcak to the ground on the horizon. About a day and a half...thats how long it would take...I stepped forward. The icy was so melted and slippery, I slipped and slid down thelight slope. "Hey, you guys! we can get there faster!"

I walked up back up to the top, took a little run, and slid on my back. It was fun sliding on the ice. Lok and the others began to follow me, but Jenny had an accident and was sliding on her belly.We were sliding pretty fast and kept sliding until the trees were closer and alot more distinct. I saw birds. Birds...the thing I hadent seen for so long... We were getting closer when I looked ahead a bit. I looked farther...and saw that the trees were growing on a slope...a mountain I think they were called...then I tried to dig my heels in and stop as best I can. "Guys, " I yelled back, " STOP!!!". The incline wasnt steep enough to compensate for the mountain...we were going to fall off a mountain of ice.

I tried hard to stop the slide, but I was going to fast. I got closer and closer to the edge. I saw that Hino, Ice and Lok had stopped using there weapons and Lok's claws. I drew my sword to try to stop...too late. I slid off the edge and began a free fall. I looked down and saw the amount of space between me and the ground. The fall wouldent kill me, but it would be enough to knock me out for a number of hours. Being a lycan has its benefits. I looked at the edge of ice and gave it my best shot. I dug my sword in the ice in an attempt to lessen the blow. My hand began to slip on the grip on the sword and I kept falling for a little bit, before I was able to slow to a stop, still gripping my sword, about 45 meters away from lots of pain. I saw my reflection in the ice and smiled. But something was wrong...suddenly a blood curling scream echoed through the ice-mountain canyon. I looked up to see both Jenny and Aiyu falling through the air. I had to think fast, jenny was falling first and about 30 feet below Aiyu. I had an idea, but it was a dangerous one. Oh well, I thought. As Jenny fell past, I grabbed her and put her hand on my sword, then, I jumped off and grabbed Aiyu as she was falling. I put her on top of me, as she looked back at me. " What are you-" " You owe me one." I said as we kept falling. I looked down at the ground and the trees, then turned to look at jenny, who was barely hanging on to the sword. Suddenly, I felt branches on my back and we were crashing through trees at high speed. Aiyu was screaming as my back was being broken by the rapid blows by thick wooden branches. Suddenly, the branches ended and we were falling again. I barely had enough stregnth to hold on to anyone anymore, but I tried my hardest. "Kalt! Dont-" Too late, we hit the ground as I was crushed and broken all at the same time. I lay there on the ground, my back aching and broken, and my ribs crushed by Aiyu falling on me. Aiyu got up and looked down at me. Apparently I was bleeding AGAIN, because she held her hands to her mouth and began yelling "Help, Help!!!" "Aiyu, give it a rest..." i slipped again into unconsiousness.

When I awoke, I was in what looked like a mud hut with and interestingly warm and cozy smell to it. I tried to get up, but I realized movement was possible when I recieved sharp pains from my back. I cried out in pain, and a girl looked through the doorway at me. She had purple hair and white skin. Her eyes burned a bright yellow and she had white skin, the trademark of a vampire. I tried to reach for my sword, but she ran over to me, "Please, you must get your rest!" "My...friends...Where?" It hurt to talk. " Please, rest! I dont know where your friends are. They might be in Fargon Town?" "Far...gon?" "its the town closest to here, they left you there because mabey they were looking for a doctor?" "Lycan..." "I know, its ok! Im not going to hurt yoou. Now you need to rest, Ive got medicine brewing. It'll be ready by the time you wake up." "Thank...you" I said passing out from the pain.

I awoke next and as I was trying to get up, no pain or sharpness came from my back. I stood up and stretched. my clothes were dyed a deep red from my blood...again. "Man...I can not keep agood set of clothes..." I said to myself. I went into the other room, which was a sort of kitchen, and saw the girl sitting at a table sipping a bitter smelling drink. "Oh! Your awake. I didnt hear you get up. Im Aruna by the way. I found you while I was going for a walk. You know, your not the first person to fall over that cliff. How even you managed to survive..." "Well, I am a lycan, if that hleps." " Yeah, I know," She said, " But theres a curse over that fall. Some of the mages thought that anybody could get in if that fall was there, so they put a curse about half way that rids lycans and vampires of there abilities for a miniute so they dont survive the fall. I dont know how you managed to survive!" She said standing. I realized she was a bit taller than me, and was wearing a loose black dress.

"Im Aruna." She said, holding out her hand. I shook it and realised she had an incredibly firm grip. "Do you want to go to town and see if we can find your friends?" "Uhh...ok." I said. She dragged me outside and began walking me towards town. We were walking for about and hour, before I saw the town. My feet were cut up because of all the stones and stuff on the ground. " I should have worn shoes". We walked into town and she released her grip and said, "Can you find them?" I tried to find their scent, but I couldent find much. " I think there there" I said pointing to the inn. We walked over and opened the door, revealing my friends and Jenny laying in a bed. "Jenny!" I said running over to her side. She was asleep, but okay. "Jenny..." I said. Aiyu walked over to my side, "She broke her leg when she fell." "Oh no..." Ice came downstairs and walked over to me. "Kalt, Im glad your alive, but theres a problem...Lok's gone!"

"What? Why?" "we dont know, " he said, "but he found a slide down the ice and slid down. We lost him after that..." I thought for awhile while Aurna introduced herself to The gang. Where would Lok go? "Hmm....well, We'll find him tommorow. I think I know where he went." Lok used to have an onld town here probably not far from where we are. Mabey we can find him there tommorow. We ate dinner at the inn and spent the night.
