The room was very dark when I opened my eyes again. Only a single candle was lit on a counter about 5 feet away. I was in a hospital room, no doubt. The rusted knives and things on the walls indicated that must have been in one of the emergency rooms. I was going to get out of bed and look for people...but then I realized something. I was kinda cold.

Grabbing the nearest blanket and covering up my naked self, I went anywhere in search of clothes. The hallways and corridors were all dark and gloomy, with little light at all. I didnt know where the E.R. was in this building, but apparently, it was on the bottom. Were Lok and the others on the upper floors? I ushed the thought to the back of my mind as I passed a room labled " LAUNDRY". Mabey the'd have some coats left? I opened the door to see not onlt coats, but dozens of winter outfits. I was lucky enough to find another short black vest, that I put on over a white tank-top. There were also black jeans with white stripes on both the sides, coming from my hips to my feet. I put those on, and walked out of the laundry room, leaving my blanket there.

My feet were really cold aginst the freezing hospital floor, but there were no shoes to speak of in the place. I walked around more, walking through the lobby and passing through some corridors until I saw another light similar to mine back in my room. The smell of wood burning was fresh in the air. That was probably Lok and everyone, so as I turned the corner, I looked to see...A girl. She had deep brown skin, white hair, and dazzling blue eyes. She carried a long staff with a dagar implaced at the end, and with a crystal on top with a symbol inside it bearing the element of water. She had two bracelets on both of her arms, both with another symbol representing fire and earth. She also had a necklace with elven symbols inscribed across the top of it spelling out the word, " wind". She only had basic cothing on, black pants and a small orange top, but she too wore no shoes.

AS she got up to look at me, she pointed her daggar side of her staff at me and asked, " Who are you?". I looked down at the blade on the staff. It too had a symbol on it, this one for darkness. " I said, Who are you?" she asked again. " Sorry, Im Kalt. Who are you?" I said. " My name is Hinotori." she said. "The storm affected my body by giving me these weird powers over the elements. It was only until just recently that I was able to craft these things and store my elemental powers within them." She said. " Did the storm affect you?" "Uhh...thats not important right now. The important thing is, you are still human...right?" I asked. She pointed to her ears. Ther were long and pointed. Elven. " That group that passed by awhile ago...were they with you? The ones who were walking with the...guy?" "Guy?" I asked. " Well, I am traveling with people, and there are 3 guys in our party...was he gigantic with black fur with armor over him, or was he a guy with brown hair with a glowing blue blade?" " the one with the blade. Can you take me too them?" " Hmm...Im not sure where thay are myself... wanna halp me look for them?" We traversed across the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 6th floors before we saw any sign of Ice or Lok. Until of course, we passed over clumps of black fur spreading over the ground. " Lok always sheds after the full moon..." I said. "They cant be far."

Sure enough, the clumps of fur led directly the the room labled "KITCHEN". We opened the doors to see Lok searching through the multitudes of cubbords for food, Aiyu cooking something on a stove that mselled delicious, Jenny, sitting near Aiyu looking freezing, and Ice, taking a stone to his sword, attempting to sharpen it. Almost everyone stopped what they were doing to come see me except Lok, who merely put up two fingers and coked them like a gun, as a salute. Ice, Jenny, and Aiyu were amazed Iwas even still alive. "How'ed you still live through that?" Aiyu asked. " Im Sorry! Im Sorry! Im Sorry!" Ice said over and over again. "Kalt...Im glad your ok!" Jenny said, hugging me.

"It was Sara." I said. Everyone stopped what they were doing this time and looked at me. " I heard a voice right before I came back. It was sara, she said she wouldent let me die just yet. then I opened my eyes and I was alive." Whatever was on the stove was starting to burn, so Aiya quickly rushed over to it and began stirring it. " It was her sacrifice to me," I said looking at Ice." She wanted me to kill her. By doing so and showing ture loyalty, she let me live once." Ice looked gloomy, and Hino, looking at him with utter love, walked over to him. She sat him down on one of the chairs and began whispering to him. Jenny hgged me again, and began to walk aback to her spot next to the fire. " Jenny, wheres your sweater?" She pointed to a bloody heap on the ground, not far from where I was standing. I walked over to it and smelled it. My blood alright. Aiyu, added some spices to her pot and said aloud, " Its ready!" She poured out 6 bowls of hot, creamy, vegtable soup. "Howed you-" i started to say, but was interrupted by Lok, "Dont ask." We ate our meal and got ready to leave. We crashed out a window on that level, that luckilly was only about feet above the ice. We started walking again, unitl we got out of the city and back on to a huge field of ice. As I began stepping, I heard cracking underneath my feet. The ice was craking? That could only mean one thing... AS we approached a hill, Lok ran to the top and looked over it. "Guys...Look!" We all ran to the top of the hill and looked far out. Lok, Hino, and I, the only ones with advanced eyesight could truely apperciate it. There, about a day and a halfs walk away, were trees and land.
