I woke the next morning and did what I always did, looked out the window. Its been a habit ever since the blizzard came, because you never know what could be walking across the icy wasteland. Again, I saw nothing but buildings and white. I walked out of our room and into the kitchen. There was barely any food left, so I decided to save the food for everyone else. Aiyu was in her cat form sleeping in the middle of the floor in the living room. Jenny was sleeping on the floor next to her, and Ice on the couch.

Everyone was still asleep, so I grabbed both of my swords and went up to the roof. There were still some ventilation pipes sticking out of the building, and the 3 years of freezing cold made them brittle and breakable. I had never been able to weild two swords before. Too heavy, but I figured I could try. I gave my swords a tug and attempted to attack. I, actually, missed the pipe completely and fell face first into the snow...again. " Never held two before, huh?" came a voice from behind me. Standing in the doorway holding the only ice sword he had, was Ice. "No, i really have trouble balancing my weight." I replied. "Dont worry," Ice said, " It is kinda difficult." He grabbed a sword out of my hand and jumped forward, past the pipe. The pipe fell in three pieces on the snow.

" Its all a matter of weight distribution. Try leaning forward so you can use the weight of the blades to strike" I attempted to attack again, and almost sliced my leg off. I kept trying to make a good strike, and managed to slaice at least two pipes in 4 pieces. "Good! Keep trying, Im sure youll be able to get better in a little while" Ice said. "Ice...do you get the feeling...were being watched?" I asked. " No, why, dou you smell anything?" "Yeah, I smell blood. Heavy blood. Vampire blood." "Good Lycan!" A voice came from no where."Im glad you have a good sense of smell! Let me tell you something I know about you. You've got two half-breeds with you. I havent had good blood in a long time..." "Dont even think about it!" I yelled "Theres only one way down there, and thats between Ice and I!" She appeared in fron of us. She had black brown hair with bright red eyes. She had classic pale white skin, and wore a long black and red dress, which she tossed aside, revealing a black corset top , leather pants and black boots. She drew two curved swords and pointed them at us. I nervoiusly looked at them. They had the scent...of silver.

I tossed my silver sword to Ice saying, "You need it more than I do!" She swung both her swords at me with a crushing blow that I managed to block. She kept accacking swinging from side to side and from above. I managed to block all of them, while Ice was attacking as best he could. both of us tried our hardest to beat her, but she just was too good. All of a sudden, Ice stepped back, laving me to suffer a crushing blow with the back of her sword to the side. It hurt like normal, like I was human again. Ice stood there with both swords pointing to the ground, his mouth slightly open.

" Sara?" He said. The vampire turned and faced Ice. "Ice? Ice KenKen? Is that ...you? I thought you were dead!" She said. "No mam!" he said bowing. "Ice, what the hell are you doing?" "Silence Lycan" she said, punching me hard in the chest. " No, Sara, my master! Hes my friend!" "Friend? When I gave you the blessed ice swords passed down through my family, I thought you promised to kill all of the vampires and lycans that came into your castle. Why have you made friends with them?" "Sara, they want to save people. They want to fix the earth. There trying to find humans." "Really," she turned to me, "is this true?" "Yes, We are a party of five. Two Lycans, a human, and two half demons. Im bringing them to the warm part of the world so we cam find more people." Sara looked down at me. " Im afraid... it may be harder than you think." "What?" i yelled standing up "Why?" "Well, " she said "While the blizzard that hit your top of the world, we on the botom recieved rainfall. Not heavy, Nothing bigger than a tropical storm. But It did one thing, poisened most of the southern hemisphere's water supply. Only a few lakes, ponds, rivers and water towers are still used. Most of the citizens down there arent much different than your troupe in itself."

My heart stopped. Everything....everything Lok and I set out for...Was it all for nothing? I dropped my sword and turned around and ran to our room. By now, Jenny, Aiyu, and Lok were up and making breakfast. I ran by them and into our room and slammed the door, not bothering to talk to anyone. I wished so despratly for a full moon. I wanted to run away from it all. I jumped on my bed and fell back asleep, hoping no one would try to wake me up.
