The Outlet of Unusual Talent
A Different Path

This one I actually made in math, the first bloody class of the day. I was working on this instead of some kind of variable root work or something unexplainable in my eyes sweatdrop

TABWalking down a rocky path a weary siluette shuffled its way furthur and further up a large hill. Looking to the dark and menacing clouds above, the thick mist surrounding her hung off her body like a heavy cloak, weighing her down. Slowly making her way towards the bright destination, she was not alone.
TABUnaware of her silent stalker she clutched the small wicker basket she carried in her arms more securly, whispering gentle assurances to what was inside. Slipping on a small stone she grimaced and swore, wishing that the clouds would clear and let the full moons light shine over her path and guide her feet. Hearing the crunch of a snapping twig from the forest ground nearby her she slid off into a nearby bush, awaiting to see who or what was there. Brushing the snow from her thin shoulders she held her breath as a large shadow fell over the path beside her, she willed her eyes upward.
TABThe deer stared blankly into her eyes before turning around and bounding back into the forest, leaving with less noise than it had arrived with. Releasing a pent up breath of relief she cautiosly returned to walking the narrow and winding path. Shivering as a slight wind blew through her worn thin clothes she pulled her hood over her head in a futile attempt to keep out the chilling wind. She blew out a frosty breath of anticipation as the frosty grass glimered as the clouds parted and the moon glowed with an intensity that made her shiver once again. Looking back towards her precious item in the basket she didn't see the large footprints that had crushed the icy grass behind her, didn't notice the eyes that peered towards her from the thick forest.
TABAlmost around the final rocky leg of her journey she smiled for the first time in weeks. Stopping suddenly she gasped, the smile disapearing from her face without a trace. An inhuman figure was crouched down low, easily stopping her movement by casually blocking the path. Slowly standing up it towered over her shaking figure, like a moster she had heard about in tales and legends. Without a seconds warning the beast erupted into motion, flying down the slight incline of the hill with gathering speed towards her.
TABThrowing a hand in front of her face and the other clutching the small cross dangling on a chain around her neck, she could do no more to stop the creature. The sounds of carnage following soon after then fading away, leaving only a baby's keening wail the sound in the dark forest as it squirmed in its overturned basket.
