Chapter 14
Me, Max, Saik, Riku, Piper, Crimson, Tommy, and my mom all stayed in the same forest where
The Park that Crimson made. We slept on the trees and on the ground. Today is April 1, 2009. It's
been six months since we made the promise to kill my father. Today is also my 16th birthday. And
over the months, Max's birthday past and he is also 16.Crimson is 16 too. Riku is 18, Saik is 17,
and Piper is 14.
All these months, we've been planing an attack for my father, and practicing fighting.It's been long
and hard, but we all think we're ready. My mom isn't going to fight, only heal the injured. We are
going to get more people though. My mom knows everything that's going on with the plan, and
she was completely okay with it. I wouldn't blame her because she got shot by my father. We all
agree to start the plan on April 25. That's not that far from now.
I woke up in a big, spacey tree. I sat up and I saw my mom was in the same tree as me. I
jumped out of the tree. It was still night out, and everybody was still sleeping. So I took a
little walk.
The night was beautiful. I was happy about my birthday, but it would be better if Rea was
here. I miss him a lot. I wonder where he is now.
*The reason he moved out was because my dad always hits me. And when Rea saw my
bruises on my arm and legs, he got really angry.
"Why are you hitting Rachel, dad?" Rea screamed at him.
"It's none of your business. But if you really must know, it's because her room wasn't clean."
my dad said as calmly as he can.
"That gives you know right to hit my sister, you a*****e!" Rea screamed and pushed my
dad.
"Don't lay you hands on me, mutt!"my dad screamed and punched him.
Then Rea punched him and said,"make me!"
They were punching each other right in front of me. I was terrified.
After Rea said those words, my dad went to a closet and took his gun out, and reloading
his gun. Rea got scared and he screamed to me," Don't worry Rach! I'll come back for you,
I promise!"
Then he ran out of the door. I was 10 when that happened.*
I started to cry. Then someone hugged me from behind me. I could tell it was Max.
"Happy birthday, Rachel." Max said calmly.
"Thank you." I said tearing.
"I know you miss your brother, I'm sure he'll be coming soon."Max explained.
"But it's been 7 years since I seen him. He probably forgot about me. Or he got captured by
someone, or maybe even...died." I said crying.
"Don't think that way, Rachel! He didn't forget about you, he didn't get captured, and he
didn't die.Trust me." Max said wiping my tears away.
"Oh okay. Love you." I said to Max.
"Love you too." Max said and kissed my cheek. Then gave me a hug. <3
"Let's go back to The Park." I said to Max while standing up.
"Wait, lets stay for a little longer. It's a really nice night out." Max explained.
I nodded my head and sat back down by Max.
It really was a nice night out.

(Crimson's point of view.)
It was morning and I couldn't find Max or Rachel.
"Hey Saik, have you seen Max or Rachel?" I asked confused.
"No, I haven't seen them either."Saik replied.
So I asked everybody else if they seen them. They haven't. That was really odd.
"Everybody listen up! We need to find Max and Rachel. Lets go!" I announced.
We all started to look around
in the woods since we couldn't find them in The Park. Riku
was with me, Piper and Saik were together, and Tommy was with mom shopping for stuff.(It's Rachel's mom,
she insisted that we call her mom. And she's been acting like a good mother.)
It wasn't long until we found them. They were leaning against a tree, sleeping. They were
also holding hands, shoulder to shoulder, and head to head. Riku started to laugh, but I
felt...sad. I miss my girlfriend, Mimi. Rachel reminded me a lot about Mimi. She looked like her too, but Mimi had blond hair, and Rachel had black. And almost the same exact eyes.
*Mimi and I were just a perfect little couple. She was normal, but I wasn't. I was half animal,
a coyote to be exact. She always knew I was a half animal, and she accepted it. She was
always there when people hit, trip or call me names, everything. But one day, Andrew,
this guy that hates me big time, had a group of his friends hold me down to the
ground, and Andrew cut off my tail. I was in so much pain.Then Mimi came just in time to
help me, and she took me to the hospital. The doctor said it was infected, so they cut the
rest off.
"Oh my gosh, Crimson, I'm so sorry of what happened." Mimi said and kissed my fore head.
"It's okay, it wasn't your fault."I said back.
"Listen, I know this doctor who can change your ears. I'm saying this because the doctor
said you can't work your body right if you had no animal tail, but had animal ears. So
you'll be just like a human on the outside, but a true coyote in the inside. And people will
stop being mean to you."Mimi explained.
I stared at her with a blank expression on my face.
"I'll think about it."I told her.
"Oh okay. Just remember I'll be there to support you still. I have to go. Bye, I'll see you tomorrow."
Mimi said.
"Bye."I said back.
But I never seen her, but when I turned on the t.v, the news were playing. And I saw Mimi on
the screen. And news reporter announced she was...dead. And I knew who did it.

The next week, Andrew was walking in the city. I was feeling better about my tail, but I
wanted revenge. As Andrew was walking, I pushed him against a dumpster.
"Hey, long time no see Crimson. How's your a**?" Andrew asked and laugh.
"Shut up! Why did you kill Mimi?" I asked angry.
He started to laugh.
"I remember her. She was pretty cute. After I was done talking to her on her way home, she called
me an a*****e. So I grabbed her arm, and threw her against a building. After she was knocked out,
I took her to the cemetery, and started to cut her arms. After she started to cry and told
me to stop it started to hurt really bad, that's where I ended her misery. I started to stab
her repeatedly, and left her for dead. Too bad you weren't there to save her. I could of
killed you too." Andrew said and started to laugh harder. (Andrew was a crazy, and messed up man.)
I was furious. It was so horrible what he did to Mimi, so everything he did to her, I did to him.
Before I knew what happened, I was in the cemetery. And I saw Andrew on the
ground.Bleeding.
I left him for dead as well. After that, I started to cry for Mimi. I took Mimi's advise and went
to the ear doctor and got human ears.
Just for Mimi. (Since I look like a human, but I'm still animal, they call us demons. For some
odd reason.)
I also went to Mimi's funeral. Those were the saddest days of my life. How can
someone so cruel, do that to an innocent girl like Mimi?
Why?
Some people can be so mean to half animals like Me. And people who love half animals.
(Rachel's dad's organization is also a genocide.)
It's just sickening.
I never told anyone about that sad story of me and Mimi.*
Riku was still laughing.
"Riku, shut up and get a life! At least their in love." I said to Riku.Mad.
Riku stopped laughing.
"Fine just calm down. I'll tell everybody we found them." Riku replied.
Then he walked away.
"Max. Rachel, wake up."I asked.
I kept asking them to wake up. Then Rachel finally woke up. She also started to blush. I was too close
to her face. Oops.
I stumbled backwards and said," I'm sorry! I didn't mean to!" I stared to blush too.
"Um, it's okay. I'll wake up Max." Rachel said back to me calmly.
I nodded my head, and went back to The Park. Embarrassed.
