Chapter 4


My tears tried up as Max and I were running from my idiotic
father. "Hi Rachel! I missed you so! But I'm sorry about your
mom." Max said sadly and kissed my forehead and hugged me.
"Don't worry, she's ok. She had a bulletproof vest on under
her jacket. That's why she took long to come outside. And
I missed you too!" I gave him him a kiss on his cheek. We
both blushed, then smiled.
"What happened to your head?" I said with sympathy.
"Well this is what happened." explained Max.
* Well when i was going to pick you up from your father, I
guess someone from your Dad's organization warned him
I was going you. Then I saw him from the window getting
his gun ready. I wasn't going to ditch you, I was going to get
you later, until one of the soldiers hit my head on the
outside of the house, and my head started to bleed. So
I had to fight, but he ran away. Coward.*
I felt sad for Max, so I gave him another hug.

As we were walking in the woods, we saw something
horrible. My father found me and Max! He also had lots
of soldiers with too many weapons that we couldn't
describe.
"Give up Rachel and Max. Since your mother is dead, we can
also test on you, Rachel," he said grinning," come with us,
or we will force you to come."
We couldn't let my father know that my mom was alive, or he'll
make sure she dies. As I was grabbing Max's hand, we looked
at each other. If we tried to run, they'll shoot at us,then we both
might die. So we walked toward the army with soldiers, and
my dad. Then something strange happened. Someone grabbed my
waste as we both were gliding on a vine, and into a tree. Once
we landed on a big tree branch, he gave a me a cute smile.
He had short red hair and a cute smile. But I knew that smile.
He wasn't human, it was a fox. But this fox was the one and
only, Terry the fox.
