take a step

weightless feel

Starin' out into the distance
just waitin for my chance

the next chance that I get

where the air is clear
and the blood falls down
like rain all around
the ground and me
making it easier to see
the menacing stare

Wind swept
washed away by the current
moonlit
burnt by an icy flame
buffeted
yet not a scratch on my skin
I'm dead

Your eyes can't see what's really there
and what can't be seen
stabs you in the back

Trapped in a phase that lets my mind wonder

Falling farther

Seconds pass by as I wait for it all to end
