Just try and shake the feeling
of the pain that you've been dealing
with for a while
you've got your broken smile
to keep you company
all my past, it seems to me
has gone away with all the greif
i am done sulking
get up and start walking
wipe the dust off your sleeve
its time to leave

Ive gone about just figuring out
what to do with myself
after everything else has passed me by
and i am left with the nothing that follows me
to eternity
and into the great beyond

I thought i lost my way
but as of today
i've gathered up the strength to live again
it was never the end
just the start of a new begining
Its time for me to start shining
once again
i had burnt up like the pheonix
and was reborn into the ashes of my past
and so ill make this new life last

forever you'll be with me
like the spirit im so filthy with your love
im so thankful
theres someone watching over me from up above
this life is all i have now to my name
ill be sure not to let it go up in flames
