It's been a while since I did one of these.. And since I am sitting here at 9:30 in the morning with nothing else to do, I think I'll write for a bit.

I managed to get to Ozzfest this year, despite some setbacks. Jeff offered to switch shifts with me, so I was able to attend. In all honesty, this year's Ozzfest kinda sucked. But I doubt any year of music will ever top '03. Me and my friends had such a damned good time that year. We were at concerts almost every day, and we met so many cool bands. So that year holds a special place in my heart, music-wise.

On that subject, me an Rob were talking about how easy it is to get somebody to like a band you like when you have such a huge amount of influence over them. Some of our friends invariably start off hating the bands we like, but as we listen to them more and more, they start to come around. It's funny and pathetic at the same time.

Today marked the release of the biggest sports title (Some might even argue that it is the biggest title) of the year. Madden 06. I'm not a sports gamer, so I could care less, but it was fun seeing how hyped up everyone else was about it. We held a midnight release that actually went quite smoothly, due to some rather nice planning. So, all in all, it wasn't as horrid as I had envisioned it to be. I was having visions of the store being overrun by hundreds of customers and such....

Anywho, it's almost 10 am, and I need to be to work by 5. So, I need sleep.. Lots of sleep in a short period of time, at that. Laters.
