Well, today was pretty interesting, to say the least.

Rob's little brother had been staying with Rob for the past week while their mother and stepfather were up here visiting, and the initial plan was for Brett (Rob's brother) to stay here with Rob for another month. Heh. Seems as if Brett's stepfather had other ideas, and is instead dragging Brett back to Alabama with them. Mind you, this is after they promised the boy the aforementioned month. ********, I'm not even the kid's brother and I was sad to see him go. He hasn't seen his older brother in 3 years, and now he has to leave after 6 days? That just seems rather heartless to me.

On the work front, things are looking better. I've been told that I am the new pick for ASM at my store, once the current one moves on. It'll be sad to lose Gayland, but hell, I'll be making much more cash than I am now, so it's a good deal for me. My mother finally found a job, and I hope she keeps it. It's hard being the sole provider for a household. Very hard, especially with the limited amount of income I was bringing in. Maybe now things'll turn around. About damned time that silver lining thing people always talked to me about showed its mug around here.

On an odd note, I've had a lot of my friends suddenly become interested in my love life, or should I say, my lack thereof. It's rather...... Odd. I'm not used to it, to say the least. I don't mind it, but that doesn't take away the oddness. And it's funny because, according to all the ones inquiring, I should be living where they are, as it seems the types of women I find appealing live where they do. Strange.

Anyhow, it seems people are finally awake now, and it's almost time for me to go to sleep. Later.
