Well, I've finally reacquired the holy grail of interwebdom: Cable.

Ahh, feels so good to be able to just hop online whenever I feel like it. If you've never went from Dial-up to Cable, back to nothing at all and then had to work your way back up the connection evolutionary ladder, you've no idea.

Anyhow, enough on that.

The new ASM guy started this week. He's been shadowing the Store Manager and the other ASM in an effort to learn how to open and close our store. Next week is his "Sink or Swim" week. A part of me wants him to fail, whereas the slightly less evil part of me wants for him to succeed. I just think he's a tad slow. Ok, maybe more than a tad. After watching him struggle to learn our register system, one thing is clear: Pulling externally for management isn't a good thing. They have to learn how to run the store, as well as how to provide our customers with what they want. Having someone who already knows the customer relation part down is a plus. Oh well... My time'll come soon enough. And when that does... Damn. I'll gladly accept the experience this'll provide.
