Save your money,
Hide your money,
Stuff your money,
Hump your money
Keep your money
All for money.
So, quite luckily, I finally got a job.
At McDonald's.
At first, I thought I was going to loathe it. Working at McDonald's, the bottom of the bottom, the worst of the worst. A tyrannical empire bent on ruling its industry and eventually the world. However, when you're making $0/hour, have ever increasing expenses, and overall want to go out and do something, you tend to recognize that no matter how great your pride, money that costs you your dignity is still money.
And once you get past the whole McDonald's thing, it's not half bad. I've some pretty awesome co-workers and I've already established myself as a good guy. All the short little mexican ladies that can hardly speak English love me because I can get the top rack of buns and bring them down. I'm pretty sure all the young ladies love me. My managers are alright but I'm willing to live with that.
My main position is to be at the front window, taking your money and giving you your change, occasionally changing orders and doing odd jobs like washing trays. Even though it's not even been a week, I already hate:
-mean customers
-slow (and I mean slow) customers. Like give me two dollars, then proceed to count out four and some odd change really, really slowly, and back up the line to the street.
-people that pay in nothing but change. Namely because, unless there's no one in line or the second window (when you get your food) is backed up, I have to go pretty fast and keep the line moving. To do this, I basically skip placing the change in the register and sort it into piles as cars come and go. The change makes its way into the register eventually. When people pay entirely in change, however, I have to trust that its correct and count it as cars pass though.
-people that order at the window, because it's a hassle
-stupid people
-people that shout their orders
-people that you cannot make their orders any less audible
But other than that, I'm just glad that I'm making money. My managers are more or less working me full time at the moment, so with $8.00 being minimum wage, I'm making good bank for the time being.
"Money" by Serj Tankian
Money!
All for money!
Save your money!
Hide your money!
Stuff your money!
Hump your money!
Keep your money!
All for money!
Waning patience,
People's appetite,
Disposition,
This possession,
Dispossessed from all the attractions,
Dancing bears of eroticism,
Self absorbed delusion,
Inclusion of dysfunction,
I now await the triumphant,
Lost baggage, train station,
The causes of ineptitude
Can be traced to my mandatory down,
The causes of my servitude
Can be traced to the tyranny of
Money!
All for money!
Make your money!
Hide your money!
Stuff your money!
Hump your money!
Save your money!
All for money!
My final surrender,
Away from inclusion,
I now await the triumphant
Left baggage, train station,
The causes of ineptitude
Can be traced to my mandatory down,
The causes of my servitude
Can be traced to the tyranny of a down
The causes of ineptitude
Can be traced to my mandatory down,
The causes of my servitude
Can be traced to the tyranny of

All for money!
Make your money!
Hide your money!
Stuff your money!
Hump your money!
Save your money!
Make your money!
Hide your money!
