It's hard to overstate my satisfaction


So Christmas was cool. I got to talk to my brother for a little over an hour, which was good. It was nice to be able to talk. We found out that the exact date which he'll be coming home is February 6, 2009. My mom was upset that he would be out two years and six days, but I had the idea that it could happen. Either that or he would come a little earlier than two years.

So I went in for an interview at the McDonald's down the street from where I live. I have to go to another location tomorrow to fill out a bunch of paper-work and then I'll probably start training on Wednesday. So I'll be employed once again, albeit at possibly the lowest point possible.

Last Friday, a bunch of friends and I were trying to figure out what to do and we heard about this party at a college not too far away so we went to it. It was huge. Three dance floors, DJs, cosmic bowling, pool tables, Halo LAN tournaments, an arcade, free food, a theatre. It was awesome. We left close to 1:00am although the party didn't end until 3:00am, namely because a few of us had to be home by certain times and another person had to drive home (she lived in the complete opposite direction of the party). I would've loved to stay later but my ride had to leave early. D:
