I ain't got a thing to prove to you

Life has become the repetitive ritual it should never become. Wake up, work, do nothing, sleep. Wash, rinse, repeat for most of the week. It's a story that got old fast a long time ago and I think its time for a change. Maybe I'll skip out of town and head south of the border. Change my name to Juan, adopt a wife and three kids and grow a mustache. Yeah, that'll work.

Of course, I blame mostly myself for the situation I'm in. Without any classes to follow work, I'm pretty much left with a good portion of the day to not progress in any way. Also, it's kind of hurting my mission as well. As I'm not a full time student, I can't get on my parents' insurance. And without that, it becomes very expensive just to do just basic check-ups for things like dental or even a physical. So I'm a situation with that. I think my parents want my to do the Spring semester rather than the winter session so I can help my brother out with anything that he might need. If that happens, I won't leave until June, maybe even July. Maybe I can make it to Anime Expo one more time. Won't know until the papers are in and I get a report date, though.

Same goes for Gaia. Words were exchanged, brows were furrowed, and tears were shed. Throw in some cross-counters, a damsel in distress, and mechs and you just might have an anime.

So I'm kind of stuck in a rut at the moment.

My brother is recovering very well. After a surgery he had to remove the plate attached to his pelvis, he can now stand (with support under arms and a walker) and is claiming that some more sensations are returning to his legs. He's just kickin' it and enjoying it for the time being, though. He's been going on a lot of date with a lot of cute girls. wink


Hopefully I'll get some initiative and finally learn how to drive. That might help some.
