POEM 42 - All Hallow's Eve
There once was a boy,
Who lived on a road,
Which has the most peculiar name,
"All Hallow's Grove"
The sides of the road,
Were littered with dead trees,
There was only one house,
Which made most people freeze,
For a long time ago,
The child was born,
And every year since,
He would leave the house to haunt,
He would pass through the streets,
Like a ghost on a wire,
Staring gloomily into children's souls,
And fill them with fire,
But every few years,
He wouldn't be allowed,
"No going out and haunting the streets,"
Would say his mother, the miserable cow,
So he'd stand in his hallway,
Look down at the kids,
Pick one from a crowd,
And then cast his dark magic,
He would poccess the child,
Take over his mind,
Drive him crazy,
With thoughts of demons, the anti-divine,
They would pick up an object,
Any would do,
He would kill everything that moved,
Even his mother too,
For he thought that they were demons,
Because of the visions they'd have,
But when they'd come to,
The site would drive them more mad,
For the site that befell,
A boy one day,
Was a street full of corpses,
