The Writings of Druki
This journal contains stuff that has happened to me either in Gaia or in RL.

So my 12yr. free trial to Education is about to expire and I'm forced to get the Gold edition if I wish to continue: college.

My word it's been strange. Everything is coming into a different view. Teachers are now equals after class, there are no rules and/or guidelines that I'm forced to follow unless by my own will or that of the government's. No longer will I be viewed as a child but as an adult.

Graduation's on Thursday. Cheers. Pictures will definitely be posted of that event.

My router completely died Monday, so my series of tubes was dismantled. Luckily we were able to find a marked down router at Fry's fairly easily and get the network back up the next day. And it was a lot less confusing than I remember it.

My school is mentally deficient, even more so to the Seniors. Normally there's a funky schedule for doing finals that allows 2-2.5hrs of in-class test time. Obviously there's exceptions, like art in which you may work over a week or at home and just have it done by said date or Teacher's Assistant in which it's free time to chill on the computer. But Seniors, after the project, paper, portfolio, and presentation (that's a lot of P's o_O wink , are still required to take a final. Except since they have to practice for graduation, they take it a week earlier during a normal scheduled week. Which is stupid because no one is thinking by this point anyhow to take a final.

This coming week should be fun fun. With practice and not paying attention and overall much messing around and immaturity.

"Can't Repeat" - The Offspring

I woke the other day
And saw my world has changed
The past is over but tomorrow's wishful thinking
I can't hold onto what's been done (woah)
I can't grab onto what's to come (woah)
And I'm just wishing I could stop, but

Life goes on
Come of age
Can't hold on
Turn the page

Time rolls on
Wipe these eyes
Yesterday laughs
Tomorrow cries

Memories are bittersweet
The good times we can't repeat
Those days are gone and we can never get them back
Now we must move ahead (woah)
Despite our fear and dread (woah)
We're all just wishing we could stop, but

Life goes on
Come of age
Can't hold on
Turn the page

Time rolls on
Wipe your eyes
Yesterday laughs
Tomorrow cries

With all our joys and fears
Wrapped in forgotten years
The past is laughing as today just slips away
Time tears down what we've made (woah)
And sets another stage (woah)
And I'm just wishing we could stop

Life goes on
Come of age
Can't hold on
Turn the page

Time rolls on
Wipe these eyes
Yesterday laughs
Tomorrow cries

Time rolls on

WOW your school seems lame.

Senior finals at my school involved teacher's asking if you needed the class for credit, and if you said yes automatically giving you an A XD And no one said no, because why say no when you can say yes and get an automatic A with no work?

Congrats on graduating <3 I hope your last week is tons of fun.

Indeed. That claim is supported by the other experiences I've posted about in this journal.

My high school was not renowned for its collective brainpower, but senior finals were a week earlier than all finals, meaning they had to be completable in an hour, or projects assigned far enough in advance that we could have them done by the last week of May. Your school's system is both illogical and lame. surprised
