Best friends forever, Just you and me.
We used to be more, but that came to an end..
We tried to bond but our hearts couldn't mend.
You told me you loved me, But I guess you lied.
And when you said it was over, I almost died.
I sat there and cried all night and all day,
I guess you just killed me in every small way.
I looked into your eyes and you looked into mine,
I knew something was wrong, but you said it was fine.
On that very morning, there was a strange chill.
I wanted to stay sick, cuz I felt very ill.
But then I thought to myself that you were at the gate,
and there you would stay until I told you not to wait.
So I left to the schoolgrounds, and you weren't there
to wait with a smile and a sweet, sexy glare.
I went to the playground and there you stood
with you smiling face covered by your dark hood.
I was moving closer and they grabbed you away..
And it gave me a feeling that I hoped wouldn't stay.
We talked in class and we got in a fight
I didn't think it would last alright?
But then all those smiles turned to a frown
And all that day I felt really down.
I walked up to you with tears in my eyes
Hoping to hold my tears in disguise.
You gave me a kiss for one last time,
and that's what lead me to writing this ryme.
So as I was saying, to the beginning again..
Best friends forever, until the very end.
I wished on a star for you to see
What you really have done to me..
And for you to feel this miserable pain
Cause you have lost the love you gained..
And turned her into your best friend
Only until the very end
