He walked out into the little garden, and was immediately engulfed in moonlight. It was a quiet night, and there was hardly a cloud in the sky. A soft breeze was the only thing other than Nathan that was moving about this late at night, which was fine with him. Nathan really didn't feel much like talking to anyone else today. He had been up all last night, thinking, and he still couldn't stop thinking. He walked aimlessly around the little garden until he came upon the small bench right in the middle of it. He sat down and continued to stare up at the full moon that was slowly rising higher, and higher in the sky. When he looked up at it, he remembered his dream again. He had had a strange dream 2 nights ago, and it had been haunting him ever since. In his dream, he was just walking around the mansion, like he does every day. Then, suddenly, everyone in the house and everyone he knows appear in front of him. But they don't quite seem like themselves. They all seem to be changing right in front of his eyes, and they become more.......he couldn't pout his finger on it, but it was deffinetly something bad. Then, they started to come after him. he ran, but it didn't work, they just came after him even faster than before. he ran and ran and rand until he was deep into the woods surrounding the mansion. They still followed, getting closer and closer until finally, a few of them jumped on him and toke him down. He fell hard, and as the others came over, he was slowly ripped to shreds, and killed. Thats when he woke up and since then, he had been trying to figure it all out. You see, normally, what Nathan dreams comes true, sooner or later, they always come true. So, he realized, this one will as well, come true. At first, he was completely freaked out at what he knew would eventually happen, but now he has accepted it. No, Nathan was still awake now because he was trying to figure out why. Why would everyone he know suddenly do something like that to him. He tried to come up with many possible reasons, but none of them seemed to fit. He sighed and shock his head. Nathan knew that he really needed to stop thinking about what was going to happen or why it was going to happen and start living his life again. He looked around, trying to maybe distract his mind, and saw a small little tree all alone on the edge of the garden. It was just barely standing, weak from not getting enough watter and good soil. The little tree reminded Nathan of himself, when he first came to the mansion, all those many years ago. He was just a kid, the ripe age of 17, and of course, he thought the world was his to conquer. He had been traveling through the forest, trying to find the next town and hoping that when he did, he could find a new life there as well. For you see, when Nathan was about 10, his entire family was killed by a vampire when he was away one day. When he returned and found the dead, he was in shock. For quite a while, he never did anything, he didn't eat, sleep, drink. The other people in the village who had survived the attack tried as hard as they could to get him to do something, but nothing seemed to work. Then one morning, Nathan finally stood up and walked out of his house. He had nothing with him, and he never turned back the whole time as he walked out of the village and into the dark forest beyond. No one really nows what happened there, even Nathan himself is sometimes unsure about it, but when he left the forest, Nathan was somehow changed. He was still a little bit in shock, but he also seemed that he had found the strength he needed to keep on living. he also found the strength to find out who hurt him so much and killed his family.
