Back in her lair, the witch was working on her potion. Just a few more ingrdients, and it'll be perfect, she thought. A sprig of thyme, a handful of dried toad legs, a dash of snake eggs. Give it a stir and, yes, it's ready! Now, for the incantation. As the witch chanted, the potion began to glow. It glowed stronger and stronger as her chanting became louder and louder. Finally, the potion exploded into a bright green snake that filled the area. The witch smiled. "Go," she said,"go my dear and find me that boy. When you do, bring him here." The snake nodded to it's master and slithered away. "Ha!" the witch laughed. "Soon you will be mine, insolent boy. And everyone will soon taste my revenge!"

"Mmmm! This cake is so good." the boy said as he finished another piece.
"Don't you think you've had enough?" the girl had to laugh.he never can fill that stomach of his, but that doesn't matter, i still love him.
"Ah, that was good. Is there any more?"
"Oh, you're gonna get fat if you keep eating like that."
"So what if i do? Will you stop loving me?"
"Yes, i'll hate you forev-eek!" the girl jumped.
"What? What's wrong?"
The girl didn't say anything, she just pointed down at the ground. The boy looked down and saw a little green snake curled up and ready to strike. The boy steped between the snake and the girl.
"Keep back," he said quietly. Slowly, the boy moved his hands toward the blanket they had been sitting on. He got the blanket and tried to throw it o the snake before one of them got bitten, but he was too slow. The snake lunged at him and latched onto his arm and plunged it's fangs full of venom into his blood. The boy grabbed the snake's tail, ripped it off his arm and threw it to the ground. The boy held his arm where he was bit and dropped to his knees as the snake slithered away, it's mission completed.
The girl ran to the boy's side and held his arm. "Dear. are you ok? That snake came out of nowhere, and you were so brave. Now let me see your arm." As the girl moved to lift the boys sleeve so she could get a better look at his wound, the boy pushed her aside.
"No, don't!" The boy pulled his arm close to his chest and he looked at her. She had a questioning look among the already concerned one on her face. The boy lowered his arm slightly. "No, it's not like that. I'm just worried that there could still be some venom left on my skin and i don't want you to get any on your hand. Don't worry, i'll just go home and fix it myself. I will see you tomorrow."
And with that, the boy walked away from his love, still holding his arm close to his chest. As he left, the girl gathered up their food and held the blanket close. I hope he is alright, at least he can still move_! A cold shiver ran down her spine. Something evil is going on here. I have that felling again, and now i know that it's right. As she walked home, she tried as hard as she could to try and forget the feeling she had, but failed.
