sigh Site Feedback... ><;;; GRAWR -_-; So, I went cruising in Site Feedback today. I posted a few times and then after that I just browsed some more, got increasingly annoyed, and finally left and came to make a journal entry. When we created site feedback, we really tried hard to make this a forum where everyone could post their ideas, great or not, and discuss them without getting flamed. Unfortunately, what seems to be rampant now... is 'if you don't like it, leave!' ><;;; glares at anyone and everyone who says this If someone -wants- to leave fine. That's their choice. This site is not all peaches and cream and I have to agree that going, 'change this or I'll leave' is not a good tactic to approcah with feedback. Telling people to go away just because there is an aspect of the site that they don't like though, is just displaying a lack of tolerance for new ideas or perspectives outside of your own. Just because you don't see a problem with it, doesn't mean it isn't a problem for others. Just because you don't agree with their perspective, doesn't mean that it isn't valid. People are so close minded. stare

	The "don't like it? leave" attitude has been with Site Feedback since before it existed as a separate entity. People'd dish it out back in Q&F all the time. >.< And yeah, it is generally one of the more hated of responses, but sometimes it's just ... blarg. As much as I dislike when people say it, I dislike it more when people use it as a threat, as though their presence on the site is really THAT IMPORTANT. rolleyes
