Rain rain rain~ this void is unbearable In California... rain is my favorite weather. There's no unbearable heat. The plethora of people are mostly hiding indoors to get out of the 'dreadful' weather. There's not so much dust or other pollutants in the air while it's raining. The insects hide too. When it's raining, I usually look out a window and I feel two simultaneous pulls on my will. One wants me to curl up inside in warmth and content myself with a book or a movie or a game while I listen to the soothing patter of the rain on the roof and streets. The other wants me to dress 'warm enough' and go walking in the downpour, with only my hat for an umbrella and lift my face to the water coming down, delighting in it. Today though... I seem to want to just sit staring at the raindrops as they fall. Rain suits my mood today.

	Rain was my favorite weather as a kid in California as well. I'd get my jacket on and my pants and go for long walks. Usually I wouldn't even be that wet when I got home. Out here in NC, the rain can be warm in the summertimes. It's fun to just walk in it, getting soaked to the skin in moments...

The Child is father of the Man; And I could wish my days to be Bound each to each by natural piety. It's a poem we just discussed in English class today. It seemed appropriate. Maybe you should enjoy the rain like how the Child enjoys the rain, with ever-renewing joy and excitement. It seems like a good suggestion, but don't you think it would take a lot of energy to experience everything like a child does.

	I think it takes far more energy the way adults tend to do it. Children take in everything with an eager innocence that finds joy and delight in the smallest and most dismal things and this gives them energy and exuberance. Looking at things in the 'larger picture' and seeing the dismal and the dreary which drown out the small little joys and wonders saps your energy far more than taking childish delight in the feel of the rain on your skin or the beauty that it can create as it falls. That's what I think, anyways. ^^

	I love it when it rains at night. I've always loved it since I was little. But I live where rain doesn't come very often, and when it does rain all the idiots on the road show up in mass.

	The rain is trying to kill Kender D:. But at least it's been cooler lately. The cool breeze this morning/midday felt sooooo good on my way to work today. Although I've been feeling so... not making sense even for me lately (although doesn't that mean I'm acting just like me @W@?) I actually would have loved to go get soaked. Rain sounds so cleansing right now after all the dramadramastressstress from all angles XD;. Too bad it'd stopped before I got off work ):. Side thought: I want a lightening storm. We don't get enough of those out here and they're so breathtakingly beautiful - <3.

	snugs her sister I was also disappointed that the rain had stopped by the time I got off work. ; ; And yes.... lightning storms = <3 Aeolusius: crying that's sad. hugs I have to admit, driving is one thing I'm NOT fond of doing during the rain. xD;
