x_X; why am I suddenly nauseous so often? *sigh*
Starting to get back on track here... with updating more regularly on the days I'm supposed to. xD;;;

This last week has been really stressful due to personal issues, plus trying to catch up and complete some pre-con work I'm doing for Fanime. I was in con meetings for most of the day yesterday.

I'm not sure if I'll get to updating my profile tonight, but I'll try! It may depend on how long it takes me to complete my con stuff. I still have something I need to finish tonight for that.

I also disabled my PM's except for friends for a little bit. I just had too much to do in the real world and I needed a break from the constant stream of those wanting answers to questions about GGN and such. I'll turn them back on in a few days probably.

In other news... I had some thoughts on recent gaia events/releases.

St. Patricks Day - the clovers! I thought this was a neat event, though... knowing how things go, I wince when I think of what Q&A must be looking like during this event. I have trouble going into Q&A sometimes nowadays... my fingers keep itching to fix things, and I'm not a mod anymore. xD; True to form... I did manage to stockpile some of the event itmes... ninja

Mimzy! I managed to accumulate about 24 Mimzy's. xD; I'm sure others managed to stockpile more, but as I told a friend of mine, I don't try to outdo myself getting enormous stockpiles of one item. Instead, I go for getting a minimum of about 4 of each limited item to add to my hoard. ninja

This Month's Collectibles Mmm... Honestly, I'm a bit disappointed this month. While I did have fun with the golden hairstyle, and I adore the baby Falcon, I don't really use wigs all that much, and I was disappointed on two counts with the Falcon item.

First, because they gave us a gauntlet for the hawk to land on, but no pose with the Falcon sitting on the gauntlet. Instead the Falcon sits on your shoulder. That makes no sense to me. There's no 'shoulder pad' option to it to provide a shoulder landing pad either. It'd be nice if they'd given us a pose where the falcon is sitting on your arm, or else one where you can wear the gauntlet as something on your shoulder.

Second, because we got feathered wings with this item. =/ Like thousands of other Gaians, I'm looking forward to the time when 'angel' type feather wings are released via the quest system. Now, I know... that specifically when they say these will be available via the quest system they're talking about angelic/demonic type wings. However... sometimes I wonder if they're going to delay it as long as they possibly can just so they can milk the 'wings' option out of the collectibles as much as they can. They keep getting closer and closer to what they said would come through the quest system with the monthly collectibles without any visible signs of progress towards the questing.

Probably they're working on the quest sytem and things just aren't ready yet. Still, I was disappointed to find yet another set of wings... we're getting some sort of wings with nearly every single month's collectibles now, and still the fairy wings are the only wings available without getting the collectibles. I hope we see some progress on that soon.
