You broke your promise
You said you would be there
But all I have due to you is tears
Laying around me like a puddle of pain

My chest heaves as I cry
My voice cracks as I try to talk
My smile is all about lies
My life lays in shattered remains

For all the deceptions I saw
I couldn't see through yours
As you promised me the world
As you promised to catch me as I fell

My hope is deminished
My heart is full of pain
My voice is full of screams
My stomach is turning like a tide

As I stare into your remorseless eyes
And you laugh at me as I fell for you
Fell for all your lies and the dreams
You painted for us so I would fall all the more

Now I stand in the rain with no plan
With no way to get back up
With no way to go back to before I met you
With only the rain here to mock me

I fell for a deciet and now
I have to go on
But I don't know if I can again
I just want to lie here and weep
Look at what you have done to me!
