Our Dream World

I lay there caught in a dream
It seems so peaceful to just run
With no purpose no reason to it
Just for the joy of the movement

Feeling free and unbound
Can fly away like a bird
Gallop off like a wild horse
Can howl to the moon like a wolf

No more pain to feel
Just a peace that is not known
In the waking world
Here I am who I want

The rain can't mock me
In fact it invites me into its gentle embrace
The sun shines high over head
As I lay in a field with the one I love

Nothing can get to us
Nothing can shatter the dream like state
We're in as we lay together
Neither saying a word just
Feeling good with everything

The world outside may not be perfect
But in our dream world it's perfect
I can stay here forever
Feeling the unbridal freedom
I am refused in the world outside

No one's here to judge
No one's here to cry
No one's here to die
No one's here to feel pain
It's our dreams flying beyond

I watch the clouds roll by
As the wind blows by through
The roses and daisies
Everything so quiet you can just
Close your eyes and drift off

No war
No screams
No horrible plagues
No terrible news
Just you and me

Flying away into the quiet world
We created that can't be reached nor
Touched by anyone else
It's ours alone it's our paradise

No one can hurt us now
Not one word of pain
Carries on the wind
As we lay together
Among the flowers like
Creatures in a fairytale
Only much better

This is our dream world
No one else can have it
Only we live here you and I
My dear loved one
