Looking for Where I Belong

Darkness encircles me as I lose my way
I don't know where to go
To find my way home
If there is a home to return to

I'm torn into two worlds and I don't fit in either
I stare up to the heavens and try not to fall to despair
There are so many paths I can take but
None will lead to where I belong

I try to find my one and only home
I'm caught in a fog that's obscuring my way
I pass through the world like a shadow
Silent and unsure where to put my foot next

I tried to follow the path but I lost my way
I keep serching for where I belong
Everyday passes with no luck and no end
To my ever so long journey

My feet are so tired of wandering
And my heart burns with the want of a home
A place where I truly belong
I keep trying even though it might never be found

I feel so different from this world
I just can't seem to find my way
As the darkness closes in more
I keep looking for the light that is meant for me

But the world keeps me on my track
Never letting me stop to rest
Where is my place?
Is this who I am?

I don't wanna be lost from home anymore
Maybe I can find home in your arms
As you hold me like I was a lost child
Which I am

The days seem so bleak and gone
I don't even remember where to go
I keep trying even though I fall along the way
To find where I belong
