So I'm getting back into RO again. I must say it is quite pleasant to get back into it. so many good days were spent on it, grinding and training in Geffen 1 against Poison spores.

What was most interesting, though, was quite the deviant in the game. The two most accepted builds for a swordie are a straight Agi. build and a straight Vit. build, were you focus all your stat points on those two stats, specializing in either field and thus maximizing your defense. I noticed Agi. way back in the day because not only did it act as a defensive skill where you could dodge anything and everything (with the exception of magic), it would increase your attack speed to sickening speeds. Vitality, on the other hand, gave you huge amounts of health and basically the best tanks. It's only advantage over Agi. was that you could tank multiple enemies and take the damage, whereas if Agi. were to try such things would drastically decrease their dodge per enemy greater than one and, since they didn't have too many hit points, they'd die dead pretty fast.

I, on the other hand, believed in the outlook that "the best defense was a great offense." Or something. I instead maxed out my Str. first, which was pretty interesting because I could kill enemies faster than some Agi. and hold some off better than Vit.

Another thing was that somewhat different was that I pretty much lived off of and depended on rare drops from certain monsters. Like I'd spend money on potions and supplies and crap (rarely armor and weapons) then go out and hunt the biggest thing a few times until I got what I wanted, thus depleting my funds completely. With that item, though, I'd sell it and repeat the process, sometimes actually getting armor in the trade if it was a good enough item.

But yeah it's fun playing RO again. pirate

In other news I got another letter from my brother. And I can tell interesting letters are going to be mailed back and forth. That jerk...
