"Yes I've been thinking about it ever since the night of that long ago ball." he nearly whispered. "Damn you must really love the girl beyond the normal amount to even think about giving her an immortal life." he laughed a little. "Oh shut up David. It's not just that it's also because I want to give her the ability to defend herself from all kinds of trouble." he sighed and looked towards the stairs, thinking about the frail creature that was bedded down in his room. Armadeo walked into the kitchen just then and looked at them, "Oh well isn't this a fabulous sight! It's the hound and the fox. So where are your pets gents?" he teased coldly. "Oh look, it's the dog that never gets laid." Aurora's voice rang out behind him. She walked past Armadeo and dug through the fridge looking for something to eat. Unbeknownst to the others, Baron had left the secret draw open and she took one of the chocolates shaped like a heart not knowing that there was blood hidden in the center of the candy. She popped it into her mouth and continued looking for something to make dinner for herself. As she did so everyone in the kitchen stared at her in shock for they knew what she just ate. She looked at them with a very confused expression on her face. "What?" she looked at them all with a blank expression. "Nothing, baby." Baron replied with a small laugh as the others sniggered quietly catching on that she didn't know what she just ate. "O...kay then, whatever." she continued to make her dinner as the others tried not to bust up laughing. When she was finished her dinner, she left the room and the others burst into laughter. She went upstairs to the bedroom she and Baron had shared many quiet happy nights for the last four months she had returned home. She walked over to the crib where her babes were sleeping peacefully. She lightly stroked Jared's peach fuzz of hair as he slept. Irene on the other hand began to stir in her sleep close to waking up. Without even thinking about words or a tune even, Aurora began to sing a lullaby of sorts to her. The small infant let out a soft sigh and went to back to sleep as her mother's voice filled her ears with a soothing melody. She kept singing until she reached the end of the song. Then she went over to the bed and curled up under the covers while her eyes drooped. She heard Baron walk into the room just then but she just laid there. She felt his arms around her waist and his weight move onto the bed. He pulled her closer to him and she rolled over to face him. "So you are awake." he smiled and kissed her softly on the lips. She returned the kiss with a smile then rested her head on his neck, "Yes I am." she whispered. "I'm glad for I have something to ask of you sweetheart." he looked down at her. "What is it?" she asked as she stared up at him.
Armadeo sat on the roof looking at the seemingly endless sea of roses that had grown with Baron's care. Only one human from the household laid underneath them. Only a patch of pink roses marked her grave at least to his knowledge for he had never seen a grave marker as the roses grew during his stay here. In fact it was the only place in the large rose garden that had pink roses. He wondered why this was so, maybe it was because he wanted her grave to stand out from the other miserable graves that littered the rose garden thanks to Armadeo. "Actually it's because pink is my favorite color and also for the reason he didn't want some old granite headstone upon my grave for he felt it put me in disgrace." Sarah said softly behind him. He jumped ten feet into the air in surprise. "Would you stop doing that?" he demanded sharply. "No, besides I came to tell you something important. It concerns my father and his newly formed family..." she started. "I don't care!" he growled angrily. "I'm always your damn errand boy and I'm sick of it!" "Please listen to me Armadeo," she begged and hugged him tightly from behind. He froze as her cold body pressed against his. "Why should I?" he asked quietly while staring unseeing towards the night sky. "Why are you being like this?" her voice sounded heartbroken as she spoke.
