It was someone she knew holding the knife.
"What are you doing?" her voice trembled.
"I was thinking about playing a wonderful game with you." he held the knife close to his chin letting the tip rest on his skin as though in thought, "It's called 'Let's see how chicken Aurora is.'" he laughed.
"I don't want to play that." she looked around for an escape route but couldn't.
"Aww but it will be fun." he walked over to her and kissed her neck.
Suddenly she felt very wet and looked down to see why.
She looked up at him then back down, "Um I think my water broke..." she stated the obvious but yet it wasn't quite that obvious.
"No s**t Sherlock," Armadeo snapped and rushed out of the room to get Baron and David since he didn't know anything about this.
Screams of pain, contractions and pushes later Aurora laid propped up against her pillows wet with sweat while holding two babies in her arms. One was a small sweet looking baby girl and the other was a big, happy boy. She looked at her children and smiled. The boy had a strawberry red patch of fuzz on his head with bright blue eyes like his father's. While the girl had light blue hair like her father's with amber eyes filled with much curiosity. She kissed their soft warm cheeks.
"Well what will the names be?" David asked as he reached out to hold the boy.
"I was thinking about naming her Irene." she replied, "But I'm not so sure about his name." she looked at her son.
"How about Frederick?" suggested Armadeo.
"No way!" she stuck her tongue out at him.
She started to think of a name for him as she watched David hold him.
"I got one, how about Ken?" Baron chimed in.
Both Aurora and David gave him an odd look and he looked away.
"I think I will name him Jared." she took her son back from David and laughed when he pouted at having him taken away so soon.
"That's an alright name though I like Frederick better." Armadeo said over her laughing and the others looked at him with strange looks.
He just shrugged then Baron changed the subject.
"Don't worry David, you'll get another chance to hold him." he laughed and Aurora joined in.
She loved the sound of his laugh especially when it was filled with love and warmth.
"Alright let's let the little lady and her babes rest." Baron shoved the other two out of the room then laid down next to her.
He stroked Irene's cheek softly, "They are so beautiful and I'm surprised we have twins." he whispered.
"Yes they are and I'm surprised too." she kissed his cheek then leaned back on her mountain of pillows and fell asleep quietly.
He watched her as she slept then gently took Irene and Jared over to their cradle and put them to bed. He had a quick stretch before he walked down to the kitchen to get a bite to eat.
He found David leaning against the counter. He walked over to the fridge and started to rummage through it.
David turned his head when he heard Baron going through the refrigerator, "Oh hello Baron, I thought you wanted to be with your kids." he looked away.
"I did but I got hungry so I came down here to get something." he continued to dig through the fridge then he pulled out a secret draw filled with blood-filled chocolates shaped like hearts and other assortments of blood based treats.
He took a chocolate heart and popped it into his mouth enjoying the chocolatety bloody taste of it. He wondered if Aurora would like these at all.
"Why don't you ever share those treats with me?" David asked a bit disappointed as he watched Baron's face light up with delight.
"Because I'm saving them to share with Aurora, that is if I turn her." he replied quietly.
"You're thinking of turning her into a vampire?" he looked at Baron as if he was completely insane.
