IT'S OVER! :x FINALLY MY SENIOR PROJECT PAPER IS DONE AND OVER WITH. I NO LONGER HAVE TO DO ANY MORE RESEARCH, WRITE ANYMORE, EDIT ANYMORE, OR WORRY ABOUT IT ANY LONGER. MAY MY EXCRETED PIECE OF CRAP OF A SENIOR PAPER SIT FORGOTTEN AND ROT. [/capslock] I just hate the paper. It's retarded. So in the latest news, Gaia disabled it's gold for PM's and it's F@G feature. And I applaud them for going back to their original decision that was made long ago, while I debate the fact that it will slow botters. What they really need to do is put in one of them warped-letters boxes that some sites have. The ones that you have to tyoe the letters in an area before they allow you to sign-up. Seems like, even though it will be a lot of trouble to figure out how to do it, it will more than likely freeze bots. Unless there is something that I'm completely overlooking and do not know about. Then that just completely disestablishes my theory and I phail. I finally got to get my hands on a Wii, namely my friend's Wii. And as wrongly interpreted as that is, it's true. And it was fun. Heck he even brought it over on Saturday so he could show my parents and my dad really got into Wii sports. It was fun. Hopefully after playing it, my dad may be more inclined to pitch in some money for it. And it's getting ever closer until my brother leaves. Twenty-three (or, depending on how you want to view it, 22) days until he steps into the Missionary Training Center for two-months before he heads to Uruguay. Even less before we head up there.

	Something my whining at the devs for captchas (those text-image things) turned up is that apparently for them to work, they'd not only have to be at registration, but on the site. Like, before you post, do one. Before you hit Towns, do one. Before you do, like, anything, you do one of those. Which would pretty much be the suck, really. I am happy friends@gaia is gone, though, because it was a spam-generator and annoyance of epic proportions. Also, watching people who joined last year complain in SF that gold is "too hard to get, omg give us back PM gold" is immensely amusing to my jaded oldbie self, who still remembers questiong for a Complex shirt and taking weeks to get it. "Gold is too hard to get," my foot! rofl

	People just don't seem to know "the day". Like it would take a month for me to get 4k to buy a Thank-You letter. As for the captchas...that would just suck. As much as it would help, I think most people (myself included) would not be willing to take an extra 10 seconds to read some messed-up letters to do anything. If only they could do it on the registration, though. If only...

	Great additional info you gave me on my entry, thanks xd A big especial thank you considering what you have posted on the top of this entry! I am happy with the decision to disable gold PMs and F@G too... though I do wish they'd create a guild-wide PM system at some point. Botters are a big problem though, and I wish they'd get their legal team to shut down the gold selling...even if only on eBay. Honestly, I'd hate to be an Omnimod right now...the headache of sorting out where all the botted gold is coming from is impressive. I'm waiting til March to get my Wii...though it's driving me mad trying to do so xd I wanna play Trauma Center! I'm happy that you're having fun with it, and that your dad got into it too. The Wii makes me happy for the future of gaming. 3nodding Hi Fube biggrin Oh....so that's what those funky letter things are called. sweatdrop They hurt my eyes, and make me wonder how my colorblind friends can read them. And yeah, I remember when 4k was a huuuuge deal. That ducky hat seemed nigh unobtainable. @_@

	A Guild PM feature would be neat, though I think it would be hard to make it sort out who is a member of a specified guild. And even then, think about how bad that could be with the giant guilds like MPL. I remember that the yukatas and kimonos were one of the most wanted items and that they were a status symbol of sorts. But no one could really save up for it.

	Yay! Paper over! Now you have feildwork and a presentation to do! xp I miss the PM gold... ;~; it was helping me get closer to my headband everyday!
