Book 1: Chapter Two ~ It begins

Taneki, and Aimay were walking down the sidewalk, and none of them dared to talk- it just seemed odd. Soon Taneki broke the silence as he usually did, and spoke... "Those girls you hang out with, are they your friends?" Taneki asked, as if the question might offend Aimay. Aimay looked up, and- in some way, knew what he was thinking, Aimay nodded in agreement, and continued looking down at where she walked. "Don't you think that they're pushing it to far? Asking you to carry their bags?" Taneki asked, still looking out in space. Aimay scurried to a firm stop, and left Taneki a little ahead of her, Aimay was still looking down at the sidewalk, as if in deep thought. Aimay didn't understand, she has never had a person ask her to be so opened to someone before- and in silence she thought... 'Why does he want to know so much? He barely knows me, and now here he is going on about my own life- my own PERSONAL life...' Taneki stood blank mindedly, and looked at Aimay in concern.

"If you don't want to answer the question, then that's fine too..." Taneki continued walking, and Aimay- looking up, hurried to his side. Not long, they reached Taneki's home, which looked alot like a dojo. "You live here? At the old dojo?" Surprised by Aimay first words since the conversation, Taneki nodded, and showed Aimay the way to the door. "Wow..." Aimay's voice traveled in the large echoing walls, the room was painted with neutral colors, and there were chairs neatly in front of a large wall fountain on Aimay's left. In the front of her, was a neatly set table where two girls were sitting eating late at dinner, to her right was like a little playground which looked like the family room. "Neki! Neki! Neki! Neki!" Aimay turned around and saw a little girl running towards Taneki, with her arms waving towards him, and gave him a great big hug. "Hey Kimi, what've you been up to?"

Taneki rubbed the girl's head, and she giggled. The little girl had two high pigtails and was wearing a dress with a big red heart where her chest was, on the ends of her dress were two little bows. "I'm good Neki!" She hugged Taneki even harder. Taneki looked up and then remembered that Aimay was there, Taneki- being sorta embarrased, moved the little girl aside. "Kimi, this is a friend of mine, her name's Aimay Sokayama." Kimi, looked at Aimay for a long time, as if she was examining her, then smiled all of a sudden. "Hey Ai! My FULL name's Kiminomo, but most people just call me Kimi, it IS a long name!" The girl that was sitting next to Kimi stood up and was standing beside Taneki. The girl looked alot older than Taneki, and Kimi, in fact it looked like she was the guardian of the two. The girl wore a plain sleeveless shirt that went down to her hips, and wore white capris that went right above her ankles, with some plain sandles. "Hi Aimay, my name is Kare, and of course you met my lil' bro, and my lil' sis..." Kare, was also very beautiful with her long hair and clear face. "Taneki will be showing you the guest room ok? Are you hungry?" Suddenly Aimay's stomach growled loudly, and Aimay felt her cheeks hot again. "I guess that's a yes?" Said Kimi. "Well, go do your business here and then we'll get you settled."

Aimay finished getting ready, and getting settled in her new room. Her parents said that she could stay there for the night, and Aimay just finished eating dinner. Aimay walked into her refreshed rooom and looked out the window, it was now raining, and she now knew why her parents said to stay there for the night. Aimay grabbed a book from her backpack, and began reading... but just when Aimay was about to open the book... BUMP! The sound frightened Aimay, and she heard it from the window, when Aimay turned around, she saw the window... stained as if someone swept across it. Aimay knew that it was raining, but she opened the window and stuck her head out to see what was it that made it. Aimay looked down, and what she saw, made her seem startled...



BWAHAHAHA!!! Me stop heres!!! BWAHAHAHA!!! *cough* sorry, well, that's number two for you... It's too long... whee Well, w/e.. Hope you guys liked it! See yaz
