blah!!!!!
Mah Story!!!!!!!! (I haven't thought of a name yet)
Prologue

500 years ago the kingdom of Limea was in the middle of a Civil War. The king had been murdered and the only heir was to suffer the same fate if something wasn’t done. So the heir was to be hidden until the family could come into power once more. Unfortunately, where would you hide the most popular person in the world and keep him safe?

In his twin sister of course. Their souls and bodies would be intertwined. The sister was able to roam free in the light while the prince was able to walk in the cover of darkness. When the time was right the rightful king would ascend the throne.

Women were considered property back then. The sister would be used as a vessel, a host body to keep the prince safe. She was still the princess but the title only got her so much, in this case it only earned her a bond with her brother that was a little too close for comfort.

“Damien, I’m scared.” The little seven year old girl with wide blue eyes and reddish-brown pigtails clutched her twin brother’s hand tightly.

“Don’t worry Emi…. It’s going to be okay.” The boy squeezed his sister’s hand back. His big green eyes scanned the room. In front of the pair was a large mirror, it reflected his and his sister’s image.

Black robes hung loosely off their little bodies. Emi was younger by only a few minutes but it looked like Damien was the older one by a few years. The two were standing in a circle of candles and spell cards. Several priests were chanting a spell in unison and the twin’s mother stood in a corner wearing a black dress and veil.

“How do you know brother?” Emiko looked up at Damien hopefully.

Damien brushed a hand through his brunette shaggy hair and gave his twin the thumbs up and a dorky smile.

“I just do! …. Besides, it’s only for a couple of years until they can convince the people that dad was good.” Damien was confident about this.

Emiko shook her head and sighed. “I hope you’re right for once.”

“Hey, what’s that supposed to mean?” Damien looked down at his twin and semi-smiled. He knew she was joking.

“It means th-” She began. “Damien!” Emi’s eyes widened as her brother’s body was starting to get pulled away from her. His body was getting dragged into the mirror. Emi rushed to grab his hand again and pull him back. She tried to anchor him with her body weight but it wasn’t working. Eventually her foot managed to catch onto a loose brick in the floor.
The priest’s chanting got louder as did the spell. Damien’s shoulder was going to get damaged if the tug of war continued. He never screamed and he hadn’t struggled as his bottom half was submerged into the mirror world while his upper half of his body stayed in the real world. This would be his last few moments (for a while) as his own person.

“Emi.. let go. I’m scared too, but I know we’ll be fine.”
“Damien…” Emiko looked up at her brother with watery sapphire eyes. Her grip gradually loosened until Damien’s hand finally slipped away. The rest of his body sunk into the mirror.

Minutes later the chanting finally stopped and a light began to emanate from the mirror. Emi was crying in the middle of the floor. This was her first time she had been alone without her brother. However, that wouldn’t last long.

A beam of light blasted forwards and hit Emiko. The force caused her to ball backwards onto the floor. Her body felt warm. Her heart was beating normally while her mind raced. As she lay on the floor, she could have sworn that her brother had been there, beside her and holding her hand. But as she looked over with a slight chance of hope to see her brother, he wasn’t there. Of course not, he was in that scary mirror.

A small whimper escaped her lips as she finally curled into a ball and fell unconscious.

Damien was also unconscious on a floor somewhere. As his eyes opened he could feel a warmth radiating from the floor. The whole room was white with a large window. It was a black window at the moment but all the same Damien was all alone.

“Emiko! Are you here!?” The twin yelled out to his sister.

One of the priests carried off the sleeping Emiko into her chambers. Her eyes fluttered open but quickly shut as she heard her brother’s voice in her mind.

“Damien? Where are you?” Emiko kept her eyes tightly shut trying to search her mind for her brother.

“I think I’m in your mind…” Damien looked around. This wasn’t what he thought the inside of someone’s head would look like.

“I can’t see you!” She exclaimed. It was becoming harder for her to keep her eyes closed.

“Its okay. As long as we can talk -”
