Ye gods, I feel like a n00b at life. Nothing ever happens to me, but I get all depressoidal anywho. Currently it's over who to ask to a certain dance.

Now, as stated in my last entry, my crush of two years, T, is taken, my ex-date, N, needs someone to pull the stick out (and it ain't me), and I'm feeling pretty ambiguous about the whole thing right now.

Now, one thing that I do that I doubt many others do is "consider" people. I don't call it a fleeting crush because it usually results in no emotional attachment whatsoever. Usually. The exceptions thus far have been, well, T and N. Now, though, I'm starting to reconsider people. Of course, I can narrow it down to the guys, because most of the girls who would go with me are dumbasses. gonk So here are my options after some reconsidering:

Stefan. We may look different, but we are freakishly alike in terms of behavior, despite him being a grade above me. We are both anime fans, we both have a habit of gesticulating madly to emphasize a point, we are both more than a little perverted and generally end up with noticeable injuries due to it. The only downside I can think of on the spot here is that he's half a head shorter than I am, but who gives a flying s**t on a stick? My sister's taller than her fiance, and... well... he's her fiance, dude. Besides, Sutehi-chan has pwetty eyes. ^o^

A. Actually, you know what? He's good as a friend, but I don't think I could stand him on an intimate level. He's attractive and smart, yes, but he's paradoxically rather illogical and has an ego the size of Greenland. Skye, one of my oldest and best friends, dated him for a while and confirmed that he is nowhere near as good as he looks. So, pow, out the window with him. Forget it.

N2. Well, hell, we spent an hour handcuffed to one another. twisted He's a grade younger than me, a bit impatient, maybe impulsive, but ultimately more rational than his compatriots. I should know. I'm taking a course with them. ...Heh. He'd probably go into conniptions if I asked him to the dance.

A2. I've known him since before I can remember. Old family friend, future rockstar. Painfully shy. Impossibly hot. Every time I visit him, I ask if he has a fan club yet, and I'm surprised if he says no. He's already gone through three girlfriends in the past few months. It might be a bit awkward if we did end up going together, but ultimately, he's an awesome guy and I want to prove that to him.

M. Ack! Why am I even putting him in here?! Acacia and Skye would, like, murder me! Then humiliate me! Then murder me twice over again for effect! Ehh, they can if they want to. He's not as sane as the other four, but he's probably the second-funniest guy in the school, is okay with taking risks, does his homework as often as I do (read as: never), and is a good sport about everything. ...Wait, he laughed at my full name. Never mind.

So, as you can see, I'm leaning towards Stefan rather much, but I'm still in a vaguely ambiguous state. Suggestions are subject to openness.
