Sometimes I'm brave enough to explore the Gaia Forums and chat in the chatterbox. Or reply to other threads in different sections. I just wanted to talk to other Gaians today. A little bit shy/anxious. So I don't always do it. But it was nice this evening. I'd like to chat with my Gaia friends on here more often. Be more active about posting on the forums.
I guess I could ask if my friends wanna chat in a thread. I miss chatting via post. It's nostalgic. Slower than Discord, sure, but, I like it more.
My friend visited me from another state. He was here for about 6 days, so almost a whole week. I didn't have much money but he didn't seem to mind hanging out with me at my place. One day, he even bought me a meal from a Thai place and it was healthy and delicious. Although I felt kinda bad that he had to spend on me.
Next time when he's planning to visit, I'll aim to put some savings aside so we can go out and do more stuff in the city. We played pool with my siblings on the second day of his visit and we even went to the cinema and saw Zootopia 2. My friend got a giant bucket of popcorn and shared it with me. The movie was good! It had a lot of funny parts.
We've been watching Season 1 of the live action version of One Piece as well. I can't wait for Season 2 to come out. It's so good! And now I wanna watch the anime and read the manga. Luffy's my fave, so far. I love Luffy~ heart cat_4laugh
We watched Markiplier's Let's Play of FNAF Security Breach as well. Most of it. He has to finish watching the rest when he gets back home. I'm finishing the last 8 videos here too. I love Markiplier and his many let's plays. There are still a lot I haven't seen.
Security Breach is my favourite out of all the FNAF games by far. It's just amazing. I adore it. The Pizzaplex is awesome. I like Glamrock Freddy the most out of the 4 main animatronic stars. And Gregory is cute and brave. I'll have to Google the lore for it again 'cause I've forgotten parts and am confused on some of it.
One of my goals this year is to watch more anime and read more manga. Oh, we watched the K Pop Demon Slayers movie as well. It was super good! The songs are so catchy. I like Mystery and Jinu the most out of the boy band. I was reading some fanfics about them. I also love the blue tiger monster, it's adorable and goofy~ cat_blaugh
I couldn't reply to rps because I didn't wanna be rude and ignore my friend while he was here to spend time with me. So now I gotta catch up and post on all 6 of them. Starting tomorrow, I'll be working on replies.
I hope I can finish making the details for my character for Liquid Life rp. I gave him a large family to make it more interesting and like a real person, but, I may have gotten carried away. I have to work out details for his aunts, uncles and cousins, including names, apperance, occupations and so on.
I also still need to type up the location descriptions for the magical pregnancy island resort. But I can't wait till Liquid Life can get started. My characters are a male neko based on Chococat (loosely), more inspired by him, really. And an adoptable that was gifted to me by Viper 9000 over on the Miracle of Life Pregnancy RP Guild server on Discord. It used to be a guild here on Gaia but they all migrated over to Discord so I'm there too.
Anyway, the adoptable is an Egyptian Lesser Jerboa furry named Sienna Mitzi. Like a little hopping mouse type animal. She's cute! I'm probably going to make her get magically pregnant with Labubu babies lmao. XD And she likes Disney's Mickey and Minnie, so I'll be using references of that merch for her babies and herself too. Fun, fun.
I had my friend Kurai who was supposed to be rping with me for my Curio, Ixchellia but...she did one post in 2024 and one post in 2025....one post per YEAR. Is too slow for me. So I'm looking to take my Curio back and find other ppl to rp with. I'm still doing the growth requirements the old shop laid out, just because I find them fun and inspiring. And then I am planning to get more art of her after the requirements for each stage of growth are completed. She's...been a toddler for a long, loooong time. I think I got her over 12+ years ago now. But I cherish her deeply. She's the daughter of the shop owner's curio, Xbalanque, the spirit born of a Mayan shaman mask, who has half a skull face, glowing red eye and a feathery headsnake. And the mom curio was Victoria, the curio born from the spirit of a violin. Ixi has a twin named Sanqui, a little boy with the same half skull, a headsnake named Belha and a glowing red eye like his daddy.
But...the persons rping and writing those characters disappeared a long time ago. So...I had to pull Ixi out of the version of Gaia she spawned from and put her with a new family. Kurai was playing the new adoptive mom and I was writing the new adoptive dad. I'll probably still use him. He's a spruce tree fae named Jarrah. That gorgeous bluey green pine tree. He's based on that, or, I guess, is kind of the spirit of one of those. Her mom was Robin Claus, one of Santa's daughters. But...Kurai won't reply or can't reply and it's been two years already so...time to move on with her.
I won't give up. I wonder if anyone still uses their characters or adoptables from The Curio Shop, The GMFC, The Cabbage Patch, The ICRS or D-Corp. If they ever wanted to still grow or use their character, I feel like I'd be open to rping with 'em. But...I think most people abandoned their characters or adopts once the shops closed down. I tried messaging the oldies here on Gaia but never got any replies to PMs or profile comments or nothin'.
Ah well.
I just felt like rambling. I stayed up too late reading One Piece fanfiction about Luffy. They were emeto fics about Captain Luffy being cared for by his nakama/crew/friends. I'll have to Google what that word means. It's in the manga, maybe the anime. I have yet to read either. But I wanna! I'm guessing it means 'friends who are so close they're like family' or....BFFs...something like that. More than friends but not romantic partners. I'm just guessing.
Glad there are so many good characters in the series. I like Luffy more than everyone else rn. Lol. I think it's gonna stay that way but I do like Sanji and Zoro a lot too.
