Society’s the fuel,
Of such hateful pride,
True feelings lost,
To this torment I hide.
A hopeless youth,
In the age of despair,
Longing for something,
That just isn’t there.
Kindness overlooked,
As though it never existed,
Too many broken hearts,
Love is so twisted.
Fiction becomes truth,
This world has stopped trying,
People rush through their lives,
Unaware we’re all dying.
Of such hateful pride,
True feelings lost,
To this torment I hide.
A hopeless youth,
In the age of despair,
Longing for something,
That just isn’t there.
Kindness overlooked,
As though it never existed,
Too many broken hearts,
Love is so twisted.
Fiction becomes truth,
This world has stopped trying,
People rush through their lives,
Unaware we’re all dying.
