Picures of Christmas

Christmas time is something
I've never understood
Why poeple smile at others
Yet you know they never would
Give you a helping hand
To banish away the night
Maybe some money and gift
Then send you on your way tonight
People laugh and play games
As I make pictures on my wrist
All the colors i use are red
I make a perfect picture with a twist
there are no happy endings
For those with souls as black as mine
no one knows my suffering
No one knows i'm running out of time
They won't find me until spring
Death grasps at me with cold fingers
And I let it take me
Down to the ground I fall, and I don't linger
Among the world of men and sin
I have no place
The snow is stained red with my longing
for a place where I might have felt a sense of belonging
