Dissected

I watch what you do
I listen to what you say
But, really, to tell the truth
I could care less either way
I listen more than watch
I hear the ticking of the clock
Counting down the seconds that
I'll be stuck with the rest of the flock
The bell rings and out I go
Out into my world or anothers
Sometimes I take people with me
My family, My friends, we go together
My world is dark and pretty
Sometimes you have to look beyond what you see
Look further and deeper then you want too
But then, thats the only way to truly see me
I listen to what you say
Commit all to my memory
Sometimes reading works to
but more fun means - Auditory!
I like talking, this is true
but at times I like silence
Its where I tend to dwell alone
Stillness has its own luminessence
People say I 'know-it-all'
They have no idea how wrong
They are turning out to be
I know nothing at all, but the in tell do I long
I know I should be more aware
Of what my fellow humans see
But how can I pay attention to that
When its so much fun being me?
I try to tell my friends
Who are just as off as me
That being wierd is ok
That its alright to be a 'Black Sheep'
Keeping them alive inside and out
Is important to me, you realise
That sometimes when you call them names
That at that minute their contemplating suicide
My friends are all important
To me if no one else
That is why I'm always there
To listen to their doubts
So if you ever have a question
Or need a helping hand
If your drowning in your fears
I'll try and lend a hand
As I said before I watch
And listen to those around
I like to try and understand
Those who seem unable to make a sound
So, I've told you my secrets
We took me apart bit by bit
Put me back together, slightly different
