The Eyes of Hell
I can sigh more than the wind
Or cry a million tears
I can bleed an ocean of red
before i silence all these fears
I could run forever
from my past
Waiting for a saviour
Praying every breath is my last
My world is falling to peices
And no one seems to care
Unbrideled fear and hatred
Locked in my silent stare
My doll-like face
Hold no malice in its grasp
Only heart-warming welcome
But how long will that last?
How long untill you see?
How long can I hold out?
These shadow, nightmarish things
Tearing me up, inside and out.
They carve me out
With knives made of words
Pulling at the barricades of my heart
Bat-like things, twistered birds
Fly out into the blackened sky
And are seen in my eyes
There blood-soaked talons make bloody tears
that stream down my face, forcing back the lies
I could sigh a million sighs
or cry a world full of tears
before you realized what you did
before you saw that confermation of my fears
