Yippy! I have officially graduated from college! Wow, it feels good to receive my diploma after all that schooling. *breathes sigh of relief* I was among one of the first to walk across the stage because my program name begins with the letter A. Then for the next two and a half hours, I was bored out of my mind. My butt started to feel sore too.
We had to wear the parchments as we walked across the stage. If I had it my way, I wouldn't have worn it at all because it messed up my hair. I was having issues with it anyway because it didn't fit my head properly; it kept slipping down. I was fed up with it and took it off shortly after I sat back down in the audience. We get to keep the parchments too. I also received an alumni pin and a letter congradulating me.
For now, I am DONE! However, I have been looking into transferring my diploma credit towards a Professional Arts degree in a collaborating university. It will only be another two years to get that degree, and all the courses are done through distance learning... so if it's just another two years, I might as well complete it, eh?
