My parents fail at games in every aspect. Sure, my dad loved the NES and such games, but since he's gotten older he just fails. He believes that I choose the games I play today because of the graphics and such, not because of the gameplay value they're worth. He's surprised when I play my old N64 or SNES or want to play them. He doesn't know their value.
Why do I choose to make such an entry? Because I recently inherited (or was given by an uncle, if you choose to believe the system isn't that old) another NES to add to my collection of others. The thing about this one, though, was that it was in a mighty fine condition. So much so that it actually works from time to time. Sure, it can't save and more than nine tenths of the time it fails to work, but that still doesn't take away the challenge of the original games. Games which I cannot remember playing but I know I have. The fun of it all.
The title is actually a quote from the original Legend of Zelda. One of my favorites from the game.
