If I could go back to my childhood,
go back to the one thing that I missed the most.
It would be
the old soccer field.
The field that filled up with mud whenever it rained.
The field that made me the goalie of each game.
The field that made me laugh and cry.
The field that held my deepest regrets.

I would go back to that field,
that field filled with dandylions
that field I left behind.
That field
and him.
