You know, I've never had lobsters, and have only seen them a few times, aside from the cooked ones in commercials, and yet, I can't help but say that I damn well look like one at the moment.... XD
two days of straight yard work....Bad idea with lost sun screen...I'm burnt on my forehead, face, ears, shoulders, forearms, and hands....but strangely enough, not on my upper arms inbetween my shoulders and forearms....I found that weird, and - oh - the back of my neck, and it lightly fade to my normal skin color where my ponytail rests, so it looks a little weird there. XD But from that, the sunburn sent my body into shock for about 2hrs after I quit and went inside to relax....I'm not offically worn out, exhausted, sleepy, and my brain has officially fallen from the plane of existance.
SATURDAY!: I got Jan to come and help me. I did my shift at the animal shelter that morning and Jan had come over to fix the phone, and I found out some interesting thigns about her too. ^_^ I took care of the BEAUTIFUL Shepard-Huskie mix and then Jan took me home and we went from there....We drug out the mower after dragging out the riding mower to find it won't work unless we spend about $200 for tune-up alone, it need a new battery and battery cords, gas, and oil....At least, who knows what else.
Anyway, after that escapade, we grabbed the gas cans after I forged through the jungle we happen to call a damn shed, a 2-gallon and a 5-gallon....Then Jan got to see the broken drain....She said she could fix it after getting parts from her place and grabbing the truck since she didn't want to take gas cans in her NICE car...(Trust me, her car rocks!! She's my boss too... XD) After going to her BEAUTIFUL, CLEAN, SPACEY, BRIGHT, WELL-KEPT home and property and talking with Ed, her husband, and grabbing the parts and tools and the truck we proceeeded back to my home, grabbed the cans and went to the gas station, filled them up, right? Right, we found that the 5-gallon had a crack and was leaking gas after we filled it FULL. So, while Jan went to the Auto Store to buy another 5-gallon gas can, I was at the gas station at pumps 5 and 6 sitting and propping the can in such a manner that it wouldn't leak....
So she came back and we got that done. (she paid for gas and obviously the can. I gotta pay her back despite what she says...) We came home and filled the mower with gas and the weed whacker with 40-1 mix of oil and unleaded gas. I started off in yard work and she looked around and got out tools....Then I stoped for a break and she took over the yard work ORDERING me to eat since all I had all day was ONE saltine craker, (I know, I know....) So we went working until about 4pm or so and then I finished up the section we started, and were talking the grass in areas were knee-deep....Jan had left by this time....And then about 4:50 or so, I made spagetti for dinner, and it was my first time making that choice of food, and DAMN was it good!! XD I was really happy.....Anyway, I went on with the day kickin a** at Secret Of Mana, called a friend, and then went outside for a moment and lost a whole damn hour of my game when my mom happened to pick up the game deck and the game turned off....*tilts head* No comment there....Anyway, I took a shower around half past midnight and fell asleep with wet hair around 1:30am since my showers normally last 30 minutes or so... THAT WAS SATURDAY!!
SUNDAY!!!: Got up at 9:30am puttzed around for a bit, got dressed and by 10am I was starting yard work again, and did that up until half past 5 in the evening, then helped my grandpa burn stuff, (he can hardly do things like that without supervision because of Deminscia (sp?)...) So yea, I got finished with that, came inside, discovered the full extent of my sunburn, then about 7:30pm, my body went into shock form the sunburn and my body is finally calming down and it's now 11:23pm.... So that was my weekend...
AND IT SO HAPPENS I STARTED THE YARD WORK ON EARTH DAY!!!! XD I was happy about that....First time I've actually celebrated Earth Day. XD YAY!!!
On another note, this is good. XD My Portugese and Native American heritage will make me dark after burning. XD And if this keeps up, I'll end up looking like an Native American buy the end of Summer.... XD Let's hope not for the time being...I'm not sure that dark skin would really fit me, but having a little dark contrast or color looks great. ^_^" Anyway, I'm utterly exhausted and worn out, and the sunburn isn;t helping that any, so I am officially calling it a night and turning in earlier than normal tonight. XD OYASUMI NASAI!! *lightly waves*
