A few days later, Rose becomes conscious to the sound of waves outside and the familiar smell of seawater. Next she becomes aware of the swaying motion of where ever she happened to be. When he eyes finally part she sees the familiar sight of the overhead she knows as her state room on board her group's ship, the Akina. The first to greet her when she wakes up is her Vulpix, Tamiko, who had been laying down by the foot of her bed the whole time.
"H-hey Tamiko. Guess I must have been out for a while huh?" Rose would say to the Vulpix as she brings a hand up to her head to feel the bandages wrapped around her head. She could feel a brace against her back as well and then notices the IV she was hooked up to. Tamiko quickly jumps out of the bed and rushes out of the room to return shortly after with the ship's medical officer.
"Mam', I see you are finally awake. When the others brought you back and told me what happened I found that you suffered a rather nasty concussion from falling as far as you did. You also may have sprained your back but luckily it doesn't seem very serious and you should be able to walk again soon." The medical officer explains while helping her off of the IV and begins to check where she had once had bruises. "You heal remarkable well I might add, but I suppose that's to be expected from our leader."
"Where did Team plasma run to?" Rose questioned without much concern for her own health.
"I might be able to help you with that," another girl walks into the state room after knocking on the door frame. The blue haired girl with pigtails appears to be holding a clipboard and Rose recognizes her as one of her closer friends. "After the commotion of coming to your aid, the sage and his grunts were able to slip out under our noses and were last seen heading south again. Reports suggest that this one fled to the Ruins outside of Nimbasa City."
Rose sighed and sat up carefully. "My carelessness cost us the target. Thanks for the info though Chloe. I'm going to guess that because we are on the ship that we are back in Castelia City. Then it won't take us long to reach him again."
"Well," Chloe continues as the doctor checks Rose's vitals, "It seems as though the last few enclaves of team plasma are slowly unraveling anyway. I'm not sure that they are much of a threat without their hero. There hasn't even been any reports of pokemon being stolen lately."
Rose thought on this for a while in silence. "Still..." she finally spoke, "Although they may not be a threat anymore, the international police want us to locate these sages regardless. How soon can I go, doc?"
"Well you seem to have recovered more or less. This is nothing short of remarkable, I almost don't believe it. So I want you to take it easy out there. Please, Mam?"
"No promises. Chloe, gather the others. We're heading out immediately."
