Somewhere in the Unova region, just outside of Mistralton city and somewhere along Route 7, a girl who looks to be in her late teens stands not far from the Celestial tower. At her side, a Vulpix sits, pressed against the side of her leg while sniffing cautiously at the air. The young girl raises a hand to run her fingers through her hair as the breeze picks up slightly. There, placed within her black hair is a single red rose that matches the colors of her eyes. Around her waist, clipped to her belt, are six luxury balls. A Trainer with a full belt of pokemon to aid her. She looks up to the sky and notices the clouds moving in. A sigh escapes her lips.
“Looks like a rain storm is moving in, Tamiko. Hopefully we wrap this up soon.” The trainer says to her Vulpix. The Vulpix whines a little and pushes up closer to the Trainer.
Another trainer comes running up to the two of them and stops a few feet away, taking a moment to catch his breath.
“Rose,” the male trainer calls to her. “We've searched the roads and couldn't find them. Another team has already flown to Icirrus city and are setting up guard at the exit of the twist mountain mines there in case those Team Plasma members try to exit there. Satomi and Ken are keeping an eye out at Mistralton city in case they double back that way. What are your orders?” Not long after the male gave his report to this apparent leader of some form or another, a second trainer dressed much like the first arrived from the same direction.
“Boss,” this second trainer called to the one called Rose, “My Swablu had flown over the twist mountain mines and saw one of the team plasma members run inside the mines. We have them cornered!”
Rose stood there for a moment in silence while thinking to herself. Her eyes shifted down to her Vulpix who would be looking up toward her with excited eyes, eager to chase after Team Plasma. After some thought, Rose finally spoke.
“Just like little mice to scurry into their little holes like that. Contact the others, I want one person from each of the other teams to move on twist mountains. We'll close in on them from both sides, but keep at least one person on the look out at each of the exits. I'm going to go on ahead, meet up with me inside the mines. Our primary target is the sage, without the sages, the grunts will have no direction.”
“Yes mam',” both of the other trainers respond before running off.
Rose kneels down to pick up her vulpix to carry her in her arms before moving in the direction of the nearest mine entrance. Little does she know that she is being watched from just out of view by some shadowy figures, lurking in the trees...
