until the last minute, i believed i did not love him
i wanted to and was hoping i could make him happy
as always, i was unsuccessful in doing the later
but i realized upon seeing him again that i did love him
Damn! am I not a fool?
I try and try to detach my heart as to feel no pain
but then i want to love
before i really think of old lessons
i realize that i do love
