My lover, not too far away
is likely laying on his bed
I always wonder as I am now
what is going on in his head.
Who is he thinking of when he holds me in his arms,
is it truly me he means to woo with his devilish charms?
I don't know ever what could be in his heart.
We could be side by side for a century and still feel so apart.
It hurts because I love him,
I love him now unlike anyone else before.
He has to see the love in my eyes,
but will I ever see that same love before one of us dies?
His voice, I'll hear forever, dancing in my ears,
His gentle touch that I still feel still melts away my fears.
Oh he's my heaven on earth that i don't deserve but somehow still have.
Forever I'll love him,
forever I'll care.
And he'll never find a day
that I wish he wasn't there.
But dare I ask him to change just for me?
Never for I can't risk losing the man that I so love to see.
So please let me know his feelings
let me earn his heart.
Held back by no ceilings
only he can keep us apart.
So I beg for his love, though I haven't loved him long
but that doesn't seem to make my heart's yearning any less strong.
I love him.
