On a misty day like this
from the depths of the abyss
emerged a demon
with a curse mark on it's wing
and poison running through it's veins

I watch the dark and dreary rain
as it saturates the sky above
I'm reminded by the pain
of the time before
when i fell in love

Does this
wound look infected to you
from when
she left me for someone new
she said
it's better if we stay friends
now my
life will surely end, wait but it's too early yet

It's okay
to feel this way
but not on a day
like today
cause the demon is attracted to tears

What do I care
if the demon comes for me
I've got nothing else to live for
I'll never be happy
my whole life has been
played out as a tradgety
all that is left
are these foolish memories

Cut and bruised
I'm bleeding rain
blood is thicker than water
so I feel no pain
it was your love that damaged me
it was my fault i didn't see
my false sense of security
and now I'm wounded
physically and mentally

Can't you see that I'm wounded
and that these scars won't heal
your lies won't be forgiven
joy i no longer feel

Pain is all i have...
