This would be a first look, but then I decided that since I had the whole season I might as well sit down and watch the whole thing yesterday instead of doing homework (Now remember kids, I'm probably not going to get very good marks.)
Animation: 4/5 Stars
Pretty much everything I review is going to get 4 stars, because it would need to look like a crack addicted five year old was told to do a flash video in order for it to fail. The problem with this one was that there were just enough characters, and just enough of their characteristics were hidden when they got into the kendo gear that I often got confused as to who was who behind those masks. I mean, in big matches and stuff I knew who was who because it had them saying their thoughts and stuff, and the voices were very different, but when they did the little sparring matches just within their group I often found myself unsure of just who was fighting against who.
Story: 5/5 Stars
Something about the characters and story was oddly compelling. Maybe it was their teacher's using them for his own benefit only to develop a bit more of a conscience as things went on, or just the other struggles and the fact that I could understand what they were all fighting about. It was just really good
Audio: 5/5 Stars
The audio just felt right. Even the constant and unnecessary screaming seemed to fit and didn't feel that awkward. It all felt right somehow, and the screaming really didn't bother me.
Opening: 5/5 Stars
I watched it almost every time, and anything that the opening lacked, the ending made up for.
Ending: 4/5 Stars
The ending left something to be desired, and I'm not sure what. When I got to the end I watched as they concluded everything, but I sort of felt like there should be more story, or maybe that it should end with a 'X years later' thing like Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann did. Instead it sort of left me sitting there thinking to myself, 'this is the end?' At the same time though I didn't want to see them do more, because there was nothing more that I could think of that they could do.
BONUS:
Blade Braver! +1
This. Was. AWESOME. Blade Braver was a TV series within the anime Bamboo Blade that very much resembled Power Rangers, and everything else that fits into the whole Power Rangers type of thing. It even had the anti-hero character who ran around being a general badass but spending more of his time helping the team than hindering them. It made me laugh, because I could remember when I used to watch power rangers.
Overal Score 4.6/5 stars + 1 bonus = 4.7/5 stars.

I miss my old thingy, but this one might work, which is more than the old one could.

If your life had a face I'd punch it in the balls. Seriously.
