I miss my old thingy, but this one might work, which is more than the old one could.
First Look - Asu no Yoichi
As long as I keep starting new Anime, I'm never going to finish reviewing them. I started two new series today...jeeze...

Animation - 4.5/5 stars
I like the style of this one, but for some reason it seems a little bit dated to me, like it was done a while ago instead of this year. I'm not sure, maybe it is the character design that seems old, or maybe it is just everyone's movements, but something just seems old about it.

Story: 3.5/5 stars
The story is funny, but a little bit out there. It also feels a little bit dated, and a bit like something that I've heard before, but I'm not really sure what. To summarize the story, a samurai who has been living up in the mountains comes down to live in a big city where, because he is a samurai who has been living in the mountains, he gets into mountains of trouble, and then ends up living in a dojo with four girls which results in love hina style comedy. There isn't really anything in here that you are going to be astounded by, but it is pretty funny.

Audio: 4/5 stars
It doesn't interfere with the story, but there is nothing memorable.

Opening: 4/5 stars
The opening hasn't really told me what to expect from this series, which is sometimes a good thing. What I am a bit more worried about was that it alluded to some new characters that I'll eventually meet up with, and one of them I couldn't tell apart from a normal character, which worries me a bit. The part that bothers me most about the opening is that the most interesting part of the story, the delinquent boy who has a crush on the main female character, wasn't really brought up that much. I thought that something that offers as much humor as that would be bigger in the story, and I'm a bit sad that it isn't.

Overall Score: 4/5 Stars
This one is good for some laughs, but I'm worried that it is sort of good for some laughs in the same way that Rosario + Vampire is good for fanservice, where if you give it a few months, you'll realize that is pretty much the only thing that it is good for.
